The Syndicate's Jackson Goldstone progression has been documented online since he was sending it on his run bike when he was just six years old to double backflips to winning a downhill World Championship. Matt Beer and I sat down with the Squamish local to talk about all that, as well as how to win Red Bull Hardline and why it's so different to a World Cup, what it's like to hit 100-foot jumps, and why being smooth and having fun is priority number one.

I have a question for the next pod!
The desktop background on my laptop has been the same for 2 years - set the last time PB did a Photo of the Year! What happened to that feature, is it ever coming back? I need more roost pictures in my life.

Here is a link to the only background you will ever need... you can thank me later. Smile

When Jackson said “Me and my buddy” a couple of times I was really hoping he was going to say Wade just to troll Levy.

Can we get a podcast with @mikelevy and "my buddy wade"?

I just wanted to say how good it was to have Matt Beer on this. No disrespect to Levy, but having a racer of Matts level able to ask the quality of questions he did to Jackson really took this interview to another level. Well thought out and very well-asked questions. More of Matt !

I think there is a typo on the front page:

"From run bike videos to double backflips and winning World Cups with Trek's Jackson Goldstone"

You beat me to this... I wonder if the Syndicate knows yet?

 Trek's?

Can't wait for this one!

@mikelevy Realy like what you do with the podcast but one thing to improve (imho): if you get realy excited you start to ask realy suggestive. "You must be realy stoked to ....". More open questions = more interesting answers

When they describe an average mountain biker as hitting 20-30 foot gaps, makes me believe that I am below average when it comes to jumping

Does this episode talk about the injured PB journalist? or did I miss an episode?

This is sick but just a reminder he isn’t on trek anymore

How do you people make enough money to live in Squamish? Are they always just rich from someplace else? Can a normal person live there?
  • 1 1
 Yes normal people live there.

Whistler has a lot of second home owners, squamish not so much.
  • 2 0
 I’m kind of normal.

Squamish is cheap compared to living in a mountain town in the US

Been hearing a lot of rumors on twitter that Hardline is going to have tandem entries next year. Was bummed that the podcast didn't cover that at all.

When can we delete our photos instead of just moving them into a folder called „trash“?

It's cool to see Jackson's downhill bike, but I'd love to see his daily driver enduro bike
