bigquotesWe've been very lucky that the MTB community appreciates what we are trying to accomplish with Pinkbike Racing. It not only makes us proud, which is a great feeling, but also fuels us to do more. Representing Pinkbike on the DH World Cup race tracks is super cool, and the community's support has helped create an environment where this team can be feasible.

The team loves the race kit as it strikes a balance between clean design and timeless retro colour schemes—the tricolour also manages to combine the brand colours of our main sponsors.

DHaRCO have been killing it with their products and stock designs so it was an honour to be able to create something custom for the team with them. They've always been keen to respond to our needs and make things happen: even going so far as to add trouser extensions for my very long race pants. DHaRCO's support of privateer racers, like in the case of last minute guest team rider Leona Pierrini, is rad to see. Definitely a company we are proud to work with.

The Pinkbike Racing replica jerseys are exactly the same as the ones the team has been racing the World Cup series in, minus a few logos.

The jerseys are the same models that Jackson Connelly, Aimi Kenyon, Thibault Laly, and Ben Cathro have been wearing on track this year. Profits from each jersey purchase go directly to supporting Pinkbike Racing.

Just replace the pinkbike with a Toyota logo

I don't know enough facts about the Celica All-Trac to wear this

@AndrewHornor: not the all-grav but the GT-FOUR: go check out the cheater turbo in the ST205. Sooo clever!
  • 1 0
@SterlingArcher: Right ...had those --or vary similar --strips on an old Toyota "truck".
  • 3 1
if your TRD Pro has the integrated winch bumper, you can't This kit is only for the ARB full length bull bar winch bumper with color matched shackles

@sjma: you proved my point elegantly!
  • 6 0
I get PRD being a take on TRD… but come on PBR was right there
  • 4 0
@CantQuitCartel: PBR kit would have been so much cooler
  • 3 0
@sjma: The 205 gets all the attention for the turbo sneak, but the 185 is the reason that turbo restrictors were introduced in the first place.

Why are they all protecting their genitals?

I think Quinny is lining up a penalty?
  • 21 1
 they are waiting to toilet
  • 11 0
@theboypanda: they’ll all be sent off for lining up in a wall in front of a penalty.

On the other hand, he might be lining up a free kick…
  • 8 0
@o-dubhshlaine: good point! and that's why I ride bikes and dont play soccer ball ;-)
  • 5 0
Free kick on the way lmao

Speaking of, the black kit photo could be a caption contest photo

 Trouser extension modesty
  • 2 0
Prurient American overlords at outside don't want PB readers inflamed with carnal thoughts. Same reason they bleep out the profanity on Friday Fails.
  • 2 0
Remember during the Ricky Bobby interview he says, "I don't know what to do with my hands." I also like the jersey.
  • 2 0
@wyorider: they only bleep out the English profanity. In the other languages it's pretty wild at times.
  • 1 0
@theboypanda: as much as Levy would have you believe ballsports and mountain biking are not mutually exclusive.
It's a stereotype I can't stand
  • 1 1
Probably a bad underwear choice for the photo shoot. Something like a leather print thong that was showing through.

These are quite cool. My only concern is that I'm slow and crash a lot so I fear people will judge me
  • 144 1
Worry not. Throw on the jersey, stand on an obstacle and say "This line, or that line."
  • 24 0
@jake28: pretty sure I’ve just received my mountain bike coach degree from your comment.
  • 5 0
Big Grin I was thinking the same, not so much for being judged more imposter syndrome as it looks fast - I'll get one as a cut goes to support the team, maybe wear it in the winter with wet weather gear. So a lot of use here.

@jake28: Sure. Be a straight up gaper blocking the A Line.
  • 7 0
Definitely they should have something like "Pinkbike Commenting" or "Keyboard Racing" written. They are cool but I would be a bit ashamed to wear one.
  • 36 0
@lkubica: I've definitely pitched the idea of "Commenter Academy" a couple of times...

@brianpark: if there’s some kind of trophy for the winner then sign me up.
  • 3 0
@brianpark: when is the next pink bike racing episode releasing.
  • 12 1
 @baschyboy: early next week.
  • 2 0
@brianpark: that’s the best worst idea you’ve ever had!!
  • 1 1
@brianpark: Won't work. Everyone here is a pro commenter already.
  • 2 0
@brianpark: You need to choose 3-5 commenters to stream alongside the episodes of PinkBike Academy. Double the entertainment!
  • 1 0
@brianpark: I'll get the order for tissues in now then, ep2 was emotional

Loving the white kits. You guys should pick up an oxiclean sponsorship.
  • 15 0
Hi I'm Billy Mays!! and I'm here to show you the Stain Fighting Power of OxiClean!!!!
  • 29 0
@ian1086: Billy, is that a pile of OxiClean or coke?
  • 10 0
Just want to say if your thinking of buying one of these in the UK... Your not factory enough to have enough washing machines enough
  • 10 1
Nothing beats white softball pants. Coaches love to show for tournaments in new whites.

I actually learned that the orange staining of our Southeast red clay dirt is from iron oxide. Quite literally rust.

Found an article from a university chemistry department that you make a paste out of dry laundry detergent & liquid ammonia and soak the iron stains in it to release it chemically.

Works way better than this god awful washing solution all the parents use called Iron Out.
  • 17 1
@blowmyfuse: thanks mum. What time is dinner?
  • 11 0
@drbino: you'll eat when I'm fokkin' ready! Beer
  • 4 6
@browner: buying someone else's team kit-you're fanboi not factory
  • 9 2
@wyorider: Same when you buy and destroy a Yeti like the one you sold a while back. Are you drunk when you ride a bike? It was a MY2021 sold in late 2020, so it took you what, 3 months to absolutely destroy that thing?

"I ride technical trails all summer and back country ski all winter"

Do you ride them though? Or do you just push your 10k Yeti with a 38 up the fire road and then throw it down the trail?
  • 3 0
@pisgahgnar: Only one way to find out!
  • 2 0
@warmerdamj: Oh, man. We need to get PB investigative reports on this. Quinney, what're you doing this week?
  • 1 0
@rrolly: Pinkbike Field Test: Throwing your Yeti down the mountain vs riding it.

"*Studio rider is wearing a size Medium."

==> and how tall is the studio rider?
  • 5 1
Size and weight, please. Bonus points for additional measurements like chest and waist. I wish that every brand website or reviewer would do this.
  • 1 3
@avgas: Seen any of the goob they dressed up in the TLD trail kits on their 2022 site? I don't know anyone built like dude....and neither do the TLD designers. Beer
  • 6 0
"==> and how tall is the studio rider?"

Medium?
  • 2 1
@Bitelio: Doesn't help to understand how things fit. We need details of the wearer AND what size they're wearing.
  • 7 0
Thanks @knut42 Just added to the PB Shop site. Waiting on confirmation for women's sizing.
  • 1 0
@blowmyfuse: Do you mean Brendog? Big Grin
  • 2 1
@i-am-lp: Nope. Go to the Drift long sleeve jersey on their site:
troyleedesigns.com/products/sp22-drift-ls-solid-jersey-glass-green

Or any of the Skyline jerseys. I don't have a problem with the guy as a human.

But for some reason he looks completely unwilling.
  • 2 0
 @blowmyfuse:
Haha wow that bloke looks like he's under duress.
'That's it - hands on hips, big smiles, everybody's happy.'

@drbino: "Blink 3 times if you're in duress"

I love the way in both the team promo photos Aimi is the only one that looks half sensible.
  • 21 0
yea, she'll eventually get the hang of it!
  • 15 0
The white kit group shot looks like it could be the next Kraftwerk album cover.

Do people know why the team doesn’t run a pink coloured bike, it seems like a marketing failure to me?
  • 11 0
Next we just need SC to do a run of Yellow V10 frames
  • 7 0
Ordered one! Shipping to Europe was decent 10 dollars. Black one for me. Sizing was a bit of a lottery. I hope that XL is fine for a 185 cm (6'1) 76 kg (167 lbs) dude with a Leatt body armor.
  • 1 0
Interestingly shipping was 15 euros to Finland from their EU site
  • 1 0
@anim: it is 10,85 dollars. Your credit card company will change it to euros.
  • 1 0
Still waiting my shirt. I guess postman is still rowing in the middle of Atlantic.
  • 1 0
 And it's here Smile
  • 11 1
“Ben Cathro as a coach/father figure not included with the kit.” Big Grin
  • 8 0
How long before we all come to our senses and realize white pants make you look like you've s#!t yourself after one run?
  • 4 0
The more people wear crappy/bad looking clothing, the easier it is look cool in comparison, let them wear it
  • 7 0
How fast do you have to ride to buy one of these?
  • 3 0
Much faster than I can lol
  • 7 0
Tacoma owner. PB race supporter. Instant cop. YEEEW

Is it cool to wear Pinkbike kit?

Asking for a friend ...

  • 5 1
 Yep.

Can't wait for the e-gravel racing kits to be dropped!
  • 14 5
@VtVolk: Love this idea...but first I need to get a gravel race into Whistler Crankworx.

Be safe be well,
Incognito Robin
  • 3 0
 @VtVolk: it's the future
  • 3 0
Is there a sizing chart? I don't see one. I can figure it out if someone tells me height and weight of the "*Studio rider is wearing a size Medium.*
  • 1 0
 There's a size chart on Dharco's website
  • 1 0
@Bitelio: Without knowing the sizes of the rider the size chart does not inform us how things actually fit.
  • 2 0
@redrook: If you measure your current kit against the size chart you can get an approximate idea.
But yeah, that's online shopping...not sure about if it'll fit until you try them on....
  • 3 1
@Bitelio: the way sizing works is of you look up to people a lot get small if you look eye to eye get medium or if you look down on people get Troy Lee designs? Does that help?
  • 1 0
@Bitelio: Yeah, so it's always useful when they give the model's sizing too, makes it a bit easier to judge.
  • 1 0
 @bananowy: thanks!
  • 1 0
Riding in team kit when you're not on the team. Are we roadies? Do they even do that anymore?

Make a casual tech t and we might be talking. Put cathro's mug and clever quip on it, and I'm probably in. Have really been enjoying the racing content. Kudos for a great job.
  • 4 0
Could that Dharco logo be any bigger?
  • 3 0
 35% bigger?
  • 22 18
Would be cool if you could get it without the "pinkbike racing" on it lol.
  • 6 5
 I don’t disagree
  • 13 0
I think it looks better with the sponsor logos on the sleaves, looks kind of empty without them.
  • 4 0
How tall is the lanky lad? I can base my size off of him, right?!
  • 3 0
Okay, but what about the bubblegum pink pants from Andorra? I need a pair of those!
  • 4 0
i think it needs all the sponser logos on looks a bit empty plain.
  • 5 1
They should cost 10 euros with the amount of sponsors printed Wink
  • 4 1
They should pay you to wear it with the amount of sponsors printed
  • 4 1
I like the black kit. I think only an idiot or someone with a maid to do their washing would buy any white kit.
  • 3 3
These shots are odd. The group shots not doing anyone any favors here. For forks sake, who directed the people in those shots. The shots of Ben are way better. At least he looks natural. And the in studio shots . . . hire a stylist for the half day shoot. Buy a steamer and some clips. I promise youll sell more . . . .
  • 2 0
Is this a limited run thing? or will this be around on the DHaRCO website in a couple months?
  • 4 1
Jerseys are available from Dharco today! Available until they sell out.
  • 2 0
Dude in black kit 2nd from left… bringing the heat from another ‘shoot’ perhaps
  • 3 0
Do they have short sleeve versions? T-shirts
  • 2 0
I like that they lined up so their heads are all perfectly level in the white kit.
  • 2 1
Can I get one without the Pinkbike logo?

I know this is Pinkbike, but it's kinda' like Fight Club right?

or perhaps admitting that you slept with that girl ....
  • 3 0
Now you can be a wannabe wannabe.
  • 2 0
Will this be available in t-shirt?
  • 8 6
Weird, I thought I would need a Outside+ for racing content.
  • 3 0
 Nice!
  • 4 1
 PRD like TRD
  • 2 0
Already on my way home Big Grin
  • 3 1
Really reaching for that Toyota collab eh @pinkbike ???
  • 2 0

  • 2 0
I want a real one, not a replica.
  • 4 0
 Start pedalin'
  • 1 0
I would buy one in a heart beat if the postage from the shop to me didn’t take 3 months like last time.
  • 1 0
Buy from the dharco website mate! Usually 2-3 business days if you’re in aus
  • 2 0
Cool, but what we really want is a life sized Ben Cathro replica.
  • 1 3
Kinda wish that we would have seen a race fit or slimfit instead of relaxed fit. I do get that relaxed fit fits more people, but it's a replica of a race jersey, so IMO then it would have been appropriate to make them with a more snug fit. A version without the PB branding would also have been welcome IMO.

Name at least 3 pinkbike songs!

I like these but I’m too old and slow to wear one.
  • 1 1
The white one would make a really good hi-viz top for commuting, not even joking!
  • 3 1
 Already got one!
  • 1 0
The pic with the white kit reminds me of storm troopers
  • 1 0
Without the orange, Belgian or German colors!
  • 1 0
 now i can feel like a @bencathro
  • 2 1
Should have made the name on the back either “Kook” or “Joey”
  • 1 0
I'd pay double if Aimi would sign one, incredible first season, congrats!
  • 2 1
They look good ... but I guess no e-bike riding while wearing.
