 Anybody knows if that MTB Hopper ramp is huck to flat compatible?

flag vinay FL (Apr 4, 2024 at 0:31) (Below Threshold)
 How is that a performance of the ramp? You intend to leave it folded, put it flat on the street and huck onto it from your rooftop?
  • 14 0
 You too can huck-to-flat at home with these simple, easy-to-setup, lightweight huck-to-flat ramps.

 @powderhoundbrr: he’s been in the comment section longer than you have. Pretty worthless comment you’ve since you and 23+ other people magically didn’t comprehend vinay joke. R/whoosh

 Not comparable with carbon cranks tho
  • 1 3
 @vinay: IDK where all the downvotes are coming from- I couldn’t stop laughing!
I’ve been trying to sum up the “performance” over a board and a few cinder blocks.
..you nailed it!!
  • 1 1
 @Untgrad: those people don’t get the joke. They probably cased the s*** out of the drop to flat.
  • 1 1
 @kroozctrl:..so it’s no laughing matter to them now!
Thanks Man.

 What happened to building ramps out of plywood and stuff you found on construction sites for free?
  • 22 0
 kids still be doing that. Off to the side of the bike path behind my house someone recently nailed a piece of scrap wood onto a log. Looks like a truly horrendous jump, but I bet the kids who made it love that dumb thing
  • 3 0
 @mtmc99: can confirm. We had a few "jumps" like that as 4th and 5th graders that were amazing.
  • 1 0
 I made a jump the other day. Jumped over my prius. I can post video if yall want

 We've been doing Tech Briefings since 2017! You can see them all here. They're just a round up of all the brand-submitted press releases from the past month, some of which get approved to the homepage as well and some of which just appear here.
  • 11 10
 @sarahmoore: Hi Sarah, Yes pinkbike has been doing "tech briefings" for years. A more authentic title for this regular content could be "brand submitted press release round up". What thinks you, your fellow pinkbike staff and your corporate overlords?

Cheers.

 That Commencal Lifestyle Collection will go out of shape and fall apart after the first wash if it goes through the same QC as their bikes.

 I like how mtb brands wait until a fad is completely over to start following it…grey tie dye is so 2021.

 $259.00 USD for a padded mat that folds over the back of a tail gate is ridiculous. No justification for that price point at all. I like RF kit too.. but man MTB is really out of reach now.
  • 5 2
 130gbp for a bike stand? titanium?
  • 1 1
 I paid more for a track pump.
  • 1 0
 I’m really not into complaining about prices all the time, I still feel stuff for our hobby is kind of reasonably priced compared to some other, and I tend to see the engineering that has gone into many products…
But that one is really impressive.
  • 5 3
 Wow! That Ari looks great! That rebrand must have done something great for them Wink

 Each bike comes with a Fez hat to complete the look.

 Curious to the moto guys out there that ride bikes.
What would the equivalent to you be for A Kit suspension in the Mtb world?
  • 1 0
 In my experience it’s EXT. they can build a robust kit well tuned to the rider and bike specific application. They do need a DH specific fork though. A dorado sent to a tuner would fill that gap though.
  • 3 0
 Coil sag-o-meter is neat. Just bought the 3D file.

 "Tailwind Nutrition." Just a clever name or the generator of scent you leave in the air behind you after consuming it.

 Nice Tacoma, most noteworthy really.
  • 2 0
 The 90’s one. Well both are nice I suppose.
  • 1 0
 @Tigergoosebumps: that is an early 2000s Tacoma in the pic w the vertical rack. Know, because that is my dream truck.
  • 3 0
 @RBalicious: I had a 96. Great truck. I
Always wanted to make a “TRDam” but the new stupid nomenclature for bike disciplines has ruined the correct intention/interpretation of that idea for a pun sticker.
  • 2 0
 @Tigergoosebumps: Haha! I love my 01 Tacoma. Plan on maintaining it as long as I possibly can.
  • 5 1
 Always thought those TRD trucks were nice until my wife said ‘I don’t know why anyone would want to drive around with turd written on their car.’ That’s all I see now.

 @Djodayton: It's how I've always read it.

 @ehfour feel free to quit the sport. No ones forcing you to ride bikes or buy “fr*cking expensive” gear/bikes/tools. That might actually be ideal for the rest of us. Less people in the sport would hopefully drive prices lower.
  • 1 0
 @Superboost: lol you’re kidding right

Less people in a sport does not equate to cheaper. Less people = more niche = more expensive.
  • 1 1
 @joecrosby: Not necessarily
