P.S. What’s with GCN+? I’m already upset that Red Bull is not broadcasting the XC and DH this year but I get it. I looked up where to stream and GCN was offering 1 year for $59 ish + tax. I checked and Canada showed the UCI races in the schedule so I purchased a subscription. I logged in and checked the race sched and WTF? No UCI races show up. Okay, so I emailed GCN with the question and was informed that they “unfortunately” couldn’t get the broadcadt rights for mtb racing but there are plenty of other races that are available. Further, they were aware of this last week. How long does it take to update your f’n website? What a scam!
The person you talked to must be mistaken, because the entire UCI Mountain Bike World Series is available on GCN+ according to the UCI Mountain Bike World Series website... ucimtbworldseries.com/watch
It states that "UCI World Cup Cross-country Olympic, Cross-country Short Track and Downhill events from the UCI Mountain Bike World Series will be available live and on-demand on discovery+, GCN+ and the Eurosport App."
GCN and GCN+ are part of the Discovery Network who own the rights to all of the UCI Mountain Bike World Series events, so obviously GCN+ has the rights... The people you talked to are incorrect.
On their website it's true that they don't show up on the Upcoming Races list, but I remember that last year the MTB events were added just before each event, so I assume they'll be there eventually.

“You are quite correct. We originally had these races, and it was not until another customer contacted us last week, that we realised the error and removed them. The reason we had to do this is that we were unable to negotiate a new contract for the broadcasting rights.”
They either don’t or their customer support are uninformed.

One question - why do most of the people in these videos seem to crumple on landing? It is like they just fold up the minute their wheels hit the ground. Doesn't make sense.
@WasKavuRider It looked like he grabbed too much brake or his tire squirmed. Couldn't really tell but seemed like it was minor cause he rolled out of it so easily.
I like how that guy asked "How are ya'?! after his buddy ate it on that drop. Second or third clip. We should ask that instead of "Are you ok?!" when our buddies eat it.

If he said 'cut' after crashing he's probably Dutch and said 'kut'. I'll leave it to you to set your Google search language to Dutch and type that word into the box.
