These videos are why I have trust issues with bikes on PB Buy & Sell…
  • 22 1
I try do my best to protect my bike when crashing. Instead of wrapping my bike in bubble wrap, I am the bubble wrap.

@FaahkEet: Oh screw that noise, I toss that thing as far away from me as I can.

That being said, I've got an amazing bike for sale, top components, barely used. $9000
  • 4 0
@FaahkEet: It's called Bubble Wrap Hysteria.....which really pertains to helicopter parents that prevent their toddlers from having experience with reality.
  • 1 0
So that's why they're was a bike shortage.

The Best Fail in 2022 was the geo restricted Christmas Calendar. This year I was about to win something..
  • 5 4
Actually the best FF is not posting the last FF of the year on Friday! In addition to that ,Saturday Sends is a fail as well. You blew PB ! Happy New Years!!
  • 1 0
Didn't know that! Felt the same about winning something
  • 4 0
Friday never Fails to help me keep my skills in check.
  • 2 1
Oh yeah no advent calendar in NZ either, this means people do actually win stuff in north america i guess thats good
  • 33 1
Some parental fails as well, letting your kid go off a drop at 1 mph. Clearly neither parent or kid had the proper skill set. Some big impacts in this one, Ouch.
  • 13 0
 Video's you don't show the child's mother.

You have to let kids try things for them self's and get cuts/bruises and push their own limits ect, it toughens them up and builds resilience/character..... probably why everyone is a 'woke snowflake wimp' these days as they were over protected.
  • 9 7
 @Elbarto14: I meant downvote
  • 18 2
 @Elbarto14:
Hmm…quite a lot to unpack here. Where to start?
  • 6 0
@Confluence-Outdoors: I asked my self's the same thing.
  • 26 1
26" may not be dead, but the guy at 5:02 definitely should be.
  • 1 0
I must say... a) I am impressed with the features some of those people try... always assumed only a handful of pros would dare and b) some of these vids are brutal - good chance some of the folks in the clip did not actually make it =(
  • 3 0
That one probably made me cringe the worst. That line takes major commitment
  • 21 0
This should have been a mega mash up of fails, sends and saves. Keith the whole thing interesting for us. It's far more fun not knowing how each clip is going to turn out.
  • 18 2
Just as a hint...these usually don't end well for Keith. (who is he again?)
  • 2 1
 Good idea.
  • 6 2
That would Keith you at the edge of your seat for sure.
  • 3 1
Wait, is this Keith Stone we're talking about?
  • 5 0
 Sing with me now:

Keith on rocking in the free world. . .
  • 4 0
Keithing up with the Joneses (Matt and Jono).
  • 5 0
 Keith up the good work!
  • 4 0
I reckon a few people lost some Keith in these crashes
  • 2 0
 Yes
  • 21 1
Didn't watch. Is this the internal headset install video?
  • 32 1
Yes, the first step is to disassemble the steerer tube and can be seen at 2:18
  • 1 0
@SickEdit: i pulled the same thing, except i didn’t case. went so deep my steerer tube ripped at the weld lol.
  • 7 1
@SickEdit: Should I lube the bearings more often to prevent it from coming apart like that?
  • 15 0
At the 3:40 mark, the Husky face is PriceLess looking at his owner in the dig.
  • 11 0
 8.56 I made it let’s goo
  • 1 0
 Good save (kinda)
  • 8 0
Things I have learned. Don’t ride near trees, don’t jump, don’t wear a GoPro, don’t ride around other people, and pretty much just don’t ride bikes.
  • 2 0
And when not riding around trees, wear a FF helmet FFS.
  • 5 0
I don’t like watching people get hurt. At all, but seeing people take a massive explosion of a wreck and walk away is actually reassuring. I’ve gotten lucky so many times and not so lucky a few others. It’s all part of the learning process I guess!
  • 1 0
I've actually gotten a mixture of the 2 onetime:
I had to jump off of the back of my bike doing a wheelie and then the bikes tires caught and dragged the bike onto it's side and I fell onto the bike. The brake lever went into the top of my mouth and cut like a v shape and I got a cut on the outside of my mouth but I somehow still have all of my teeth. We went to urgent care who told us to go to the hospital where I had to get reconstructive surgery in my mouth. Tldr: fell doing wheelie brake lever stabbed mouth, still have all teeth, got reconstructive surgery.
  • 1 0
Oh yeah, I realized that something was wrong when I was spitting out a mouthfull of blood every 3 seconds
  • 1 0
I dislocated both my shoulders at the same time. Well subluxation, they went back by themselves. Awful experience there. I was a Alone when a corner blew out and I got tossed in the tullies. @ljXnyxfD:

Trees still undefeated in 2022!! Savage !!
  • 3 0
At 2:19 (and here's a tip: With YouTube, if you pause, you can use the comma and period keys on your keyboard to go frame-by frame backwards and forwards), that dude's frame is 100% destroyed. It looks in a couple of frames like the headtube is still attached, but the steerer popped clean out of it (just like with Matt Beer on that Machina prototype on A-Line). Not that I would blame the frame in this instance--that was a brutal 50-50 cased landing.
  • 21 15
Sleepy Joe for the win! Great choice.
  • 3 5
 Brilliant!!! LOL.
  • 8 11
 Let’s dismount Brandon!
  • 10 0
My guess is the previous guy doesn't know how to ride a bike.
  • 5 2
The friday fail collection is the biggest video collection for mtb crashes i know of. I'll be excited when somebody develops an AI that tells the videographer a crash is to come before it happens.
  • 5 0
Hardest bunch of hits Ive ever seen, don't think I could watch these on a regular basis...
  • 7 2
I note with care that everybody who ran internal headset routing crashed in this video...
  • 3 0
Curious if the rise of YouTube personalities looking at a feature and saying “slow into it, off the brakes, little pop, and done” has any effect on the severity of Friday fails?
  • 2 0
Being from Austria, I whatched this with the Donauwalzer running in the background
If one thing could improve this awesome vid, it’s this.
And - to my knowledge - it’s old enough to be royalties free …
Just sayin….
  • 5 0
you don't get to see a lot of FFs shot from a RedBull Helmet......
  • 2 0
 Yeah, who was that?
  • 4 0
I kinda want to see another few seconds after the crash, but really, I don't.
  • 2 0
 Yup
  • 3 0
Best Fails 2022, I thought at first it was a rerun of Pink Bike Academy but it's just a whole year of Friday Fails, thank God.
  • 4 0
Huge shout out to full face helmets haha
  • 3 0
Soooo many broken bones caused by trees lol... this was one of the better videos PB has ever put out for sure.
  • 3 2
Fxxkin savage. Stacking your bike and then being steamrolled by your ride buddy soon after has got too be the ultimate double whammy. And as for trees, f**k; they put a big full stop to anyone's fun.
  • 3 0
Takeaway from this video: For the sake of my own survival I need to do more push-ups!
  • 1 0
I find myself thinking of the age of these folks.
Some of the young kids getting twisted and flipping all over: "Eh, he'll probably be fine."
Guys middle-aged: "Oh he's definitely gonna carry that for years."
  • 3 0
unless i missed it, there wasn't a single exclamation of "Kurva"!!!!! I am disappointed.
  • 2 0
Some of these just kept going lol. I always hope that people kinda walk away from these
  • 1 0
Probably a good thing a set like this doesn't happen every Friday. And apparently a lot of people can see the forest for the trees.
  • 2 0
2:36 crashed because he didn’t have as much BMX background as everyone else.
  • 3 0
 All the innocent injured trees.
  • 3 0
Where is the one where the guy hit the stump with his face?
  • 2 0
At 3:40 that was a pretty cool save and he almost got away with it...
  • 4 2
No worries guys. For 2023 I'll just let my ibis do the job ! Cheers
  • 1 0
8:25...he did not let the Ibis do the work and paid the price.
  • 2 0
Anyone know what happened to the guy at the 5 minute mark?
  • 1 0
I could be wrong but I'm pretty certain nothing happened and there is another video of him clearing the gap.
  • 1 0
 @Sscottt: What an animal
  • 2 0
2'41" : best send / save / dance / fail of the year.
  • 3 0
Almost pulled off an smooth looking wheelie to back wheel tap.
  • 1 0

  • 2 0
really makes you think twice before buying used
  • 3 0
 I saw BMX fail
  • 1 0
8:48 is possibly the most painful looking reaction I have ever seen on one of these.
  • 2 0
Looks like there will be a few less riders in 2023...
  • 1 1
Like a Sci-Fi war movie - Invasion of the Trees Or a satirical comedy - There's Something about Stupid Or a action thriller - Mission Impractible
  • 1 0
Actually it's the Worst Fails of 2022, not the best. Happy And Safe Ridings to you all for 2023.
  • 1 0
With some of these, how they went down was about as good as they actually could have.
  • 1 0
Me-some people should not ride bikes
Everyone else- just don’t use brakes
  • 1 0
 daaayum....! 4:58/5:02-ish. Eek
  • 1 0
Don't worry, no trees were hurt in the making of this documentary....
  • 1 0
 I like the 820 mm handlebars @ 4:50!!
  • 1 0
at 6:39 it almost looks like he snapped his top tube?
  • 1 0
Yay! FF rules! And a perfect way to end it!
  • 2 0
 5:00 - bad dream
  • 1 0
The fail at 1:54 had me crying
  • 1 0
That drop at 1:05 though.... Frown
  • 1 0
Do we know though if Brian is OK? How did that clip not make it?
  • 1 0
The dreaded bike magnet tree after a drop
  • 1 0
0:35 legend says he goes to nowhere.
  • 1 0
You outdid yourselves in 2022 Pinkbike...kudos!
  • 1 0
Yikes. Heal up folks, and use sober judgement when committing.
  • 1 0
The side view at 4:40 was impressive
  • 1 0
all those failed backflips......i salut you
  • 1 0
1:26 is the best reason ive ever seet to not follow eachother so close
  • 1 3
Seems we should ride on more treeless mountains. After watching most of these I would think we would be far more supportive of clear cutting!
  • 1 1
Which of these ended in a gofundme page?
  • 24 4
 the ones from the USA
  • 1 0
 Heads up!
  • 1 0
 so much pain...
  • 1 0
 Farken ell.
  • 1 0
 savage snuff film
  • 1 2
5 minutes is as long as these should be. Simply too much carnage packed in beyond that
  • 2 3
2:23 Proof that Clipless pedals dont' always get out...
  • 1 0
To be fair, you have to be coherent enough to twist / rotate etc to get out. Not that there is always time to think about that like shown here.
  • 1 2
8:25 the winning fail of 2022?
  • 1 1
 XC helmets suck.
