 I'll give some kudos to 7mesh-- I've got a northwoods wind shell and it's one of my favorite pieces of kit. It's the first jacket I've bought with built in stash clips and its quickly become a non-negotiable feature for me.

 I am in the market for a pair of riding pants and I thought $220 seemed pricey but I just did a spot check on other brands and its not that far off for the features. Fox Ranger is $165 and can be guaranteed to be badly made and stained with the blood and tears of kids in some sweatshop over the water.

 @paulskibum: check this article from a couple years ago. There is an amazon link to some nice pants for a good price. Also have 2 pairs of the Nukeproof pants and they are really quite good (for under a hundred bucks!).

 @paulskibum: HandUp AT+ pants for $60 is hard to beat, especially for colder weather. The regular AT pants are on sale and are better for warmer weather.

 @AndrewFleming: Any idea how their sizing is? Being 6'2" and ordering pants just by waist size is usually a disaster. Most companies pants are way too short for taller riders.

 @schwaaa31: 6'3" here with a 34 waist. I have a medium and large in the previous version. Medium is tighter in the thighs but never sags as the fabric stretches. Large will fit pads much better and offer room for horizontal expansion....

 @schwaaa31: I'm 6'2", 190# and 34" pants, and size L works for me. The regular AT pants have cotton in them so they shrunk a bit and are tighter. The AT+ pants fit a bit big but close to perfect. Length of both is good and don't catch on chain rings.

 @AndrewFleming: I have had constant quality issues with handup products, I keep giving them a try but no more. The AT pants and shorts end up pilling all over, the gloves tear at the seams way too soon, and shirts are an odd fit, wide and not very long which seems like to opposite of what you want for MTB. Maybe they work for some people, but I have been disappointed.

 @AndrewFleming: They are a good price even marked up to canadian dollars - I'd probably prefer the AT to AT+ but no XS available. Spin the wheel and try the + for sub 90 CAD?

Yea, I have pilling on my regular AT shorts, but I wore them a ton. They have faded and have some stains on them so they are now my yard work shorts. I got my money's worth on those. They are in perfect shape structurally, no tears or pulls on the stitching.

I have yet to wear out a pair of their gloves. I have one pair that I've worn in all kinds of conditions for 50+ rides that are in really good shape.

The fit of my regular AT pants are excellent. The AT+ pants are a bit baggy but I've ridden in them in really cold conditions with full tights on underneath and it was ideal.

I've never bought any of their shirts.

 Love 7mesh gear and in my opinion worth the cash. I did try to submit a 3 star review of the super pricey thunder pant but maybe it wasn’t good enough to post (?) … I hope that’s not the case but tried twice and neither time it worked despite the msg indicating it would take 48-72 hours. By the way , love the pants for gravel but not the best for mtb in my opinion - tore a hole in them too easy!

 Dear 7Mesh, please make more long inseam shorts that fit over kneepads if you have long legs. I love the Revo and have a pair that's almost 8 years old, finally bought a replacement, but a lighter weight version with the same 18-19" inseam would be awesome.

 @jimmyricard: who knows. Probably some short king that fits normal shorts (and bikes, and trucks, and pants) from anyone. The 7Mesh Revo are the best fitting shorts I've found at 6'9", they're just a little heavy and hot on sunny days.

 I don't get why people feel the need to let everyone know what different pants/bike/helmet/truck/car/dating app they are using everytime a new product launch is posted. So you're not this companies target demo, you don't need to shill your shit.

 @everythingsucks: I dont get why people need to take a shit on people are sharing knowledge and alternative options for those of us who cant afford nor justify a car payment on a pair of shorts that will be shitkicked by mid July. But Hey! Here the f*ck we are Eh Big Grin . Also, in this "free market economy" that's how you affect market change...Consumers vote with their wallets. If enough people move away from a fabric status symbol back to an economical, rugged, durable wear item that will reflect in a companies bottom line and they'll have to adjust accordingly... Manufacturers can only charge what the markets will bear.

And they can only make that move if the information is shared.

It's actually one of the positives of the comments section - and makes it feel more like a riding community with people offering advice rather than moaning, insulting and complaining at every comment. You may fall into the latter.

 Love my roam shirts but can’t wear them without a compression top or similar under because the seam between the chest and belly parts chafes while moving.
I usually wear one anyways but not ideal for hot summer days when I only want one layer

 Funny since they're also one of the only apparel brands that makes a real XXL. Most brands' XXL is like a large swimsuit or 36" waist. I've hovered around a 38-40" waist forever and the 7Mesh XXL always fits well.

 In their defense, I have a pair of their shorts that have held up really well as the shorts I've worn 99% of the time for the last 8 years. Dozens and dozens of park days, all day pedalfests, shuttle days, lots of wrecks. I've put a few holes in them from wrecks but never from abrasion or general saddle / pad wear and tear.
