PRESS RELEASE: CrossWorx LITE & DASH now SRAM UDH ready

CrossWorxCycles produces frames and bikes from aluminum in the middle of Germany. With a lot of passion and dedication, a total of 3 full-suspension models, a trail hardtail, a 24” children's bike, and a 28” gravel bike have been developed over the past 5 years, all in local production.

We've now prepared all our models (DASH275, DASH290 & LITE290) for the SRAM UDH Standard. But that's not all – there are a few more exciting things to uncover.

UDH Compatibility

For the new season, we've equipped our LITE & DASH models with UDH. This means that all Transmission Drivetrains can now be installed. For those of you who prefer to stick with the traditional derailleur hanger, the frames will be delivered with our own axle and derailleur hanger.

Upgrade Kit for existing bikes

Of course, the backward compatibility of our frames is very important to us. So even existing customers can upgrade to a UDH-compatible swingarm. Therefore we offer a trade-in on our website. In exchange for your old swingarm, you'll receive a discount on a new UDH-compatible one. Alternatively, a completely new swingarm can also be purchased without a trade-in.

Fidlock Ready Bikes

Every cyclist understands the importance of staying hydrated while riding. Drawing upon our extensive biking experience, we've tested various bottle mounts, and Fidlock's system has emerged as the clear winner. Every bike we build is equipped with a free Fidlock bikebase. Along with an exclusive discount code for our CrossWorx customers you can purchase your preferred Fidlock bottle with a special CrossWorx discount.

New configuration options

With the introduction of the UDH derailleur hanger, we now offer GX and X0 Transmission drivetrains for all of our full suspension bikes.

As we prioritize comfort while cycling and firmly believe that SQLAB products can enhance the experience, especially when paired with our comfortable upright riding position on Lite & Dash Bikes, we've expanded our configurator to include options for SQLAB saddles and grips at key contact points.

- Individualism^10 - All RAL Classic tones available as custom colors -

For those who choose CrossWorx, individuality is always a big point. To give more choices for colors, we've added all the colors from the RAL Classic color palette. With 216 different colors to pick from, plus our base option Radiant Raw, there's almost no color preference we can't meet.

Frame kits, bikes and delivery times

As usual, we offer our DASH and LITE models as frame kits or complete bikes in our configurator on the website.

Special colors, custom frames, and specific requests can still be inquired about individually. We cater to every customer's needs. Short delivery times are extremely important to us. Who wouldn't want to get in the saddle quickly? With local production and a reliable supply chain, we can assemble and deliver our frames and bikes in just a matter of days.

The idea of making our own frames has been in our minds for a long time. At the end of 2019, we took the step and established CrossworxCycles GmbH. We are an innovative team with a lot of experience and knowledge in frame building and at least as much experience from countless national and international competitions. This enables us to combine the engineering art of bicycle construction with our knowledge of the tracks of the world. It is our ambition to create a race-ready bike that will delight our customers.

I'd never her of the brand until I saw this (their advertising worked!), does anyone know how they ride?

Yep! Just got my 2nd one.

@enjoyriding: Thanks! That's all I need to know!

I ride a Lite290 since March 2023 and couldn't be happier. Fun and capable bike, great craftsmanship from Germany and fantastic customer support.

Buy the original one: Ancillotti Scarab SB - one of the best looking bikes out there!
  • 5 0
@arei: Yet the Ancilotti looks worse and the build quality is crap.
  • 1 1
@fred-frod: Can't tell about the quality these days, had a day on their dh rig 20 years ago and it was fun like hell! Luckily tastes are different Wink

Have had a Dash 290 with custom geometry (63.5 head angle, longer head tube, 530 reach, 450 seat tube) for 1.5 years now - it absolutely rips. Can run air or coil in the rear, running a Formula Mod shock myself. Love this bike and suspension design, the workmanship is impeccable, the CNC bits are beautiful, cable routing is a joy, and the stiffness of the rear triangle with no pivots has been impressive to say the least. No stupid trunnion mount shocks like everyone else seems to be designing is a win as well. Highly recommend Crossworx!

@toothlessrancidbear: ...I see a big ol' pivot on that rear triangle. Almost as if it's what they like to call a "single pivot".
  • 1 0
@slovenian6474: Yes I forgot the word "dropout" before pivot in my post above. The large main pivot and CNC'd uprights on the rear triangle result in some excellent tracking through the rough. Or were you trying to disparage single pivots in classic pb style haha? Many ride very well these days and the linkage design on this frame contributes some end stroke progression.

@toothlessrancidbear: Def not disparaging single pivots! I ride an Evil.

I own a Lite290 Phenomenal machine, craftmanship is top low CG weight distribution and wonderful display of engineering with the packaging of linkage. This has been my favorite bike to date I've owned Kudos to Crossworx I'm a fan

I really like crossworx frames, despite regularly checking ebay for a second hand bargain all i ever see is a overpriced front triangle from australia. Some day…..
PM Me if you’re selling one

The Raw frame looks badass, although the decals on the downtube aren't my cuppa.

You can order your bike decal free at checkout. Pretty sweet.

I want to kiss that bottom bracket on the lips

 28" gravel bike? Please explain.
  • 8 0
28" and 29" (and 700c) wheels in the bicycle world are actually the same size - I'm not even taking the piss. I think it's because the wheel size quoted is for the outside of the tyre diameter - which I know is stupid
  • 1 0
That’s what I thought but then also thought “why not just write gravel bike?”.
  • 2 1
@AndrewFleming: Because some gravs use 650B (ISO 584). And for some reason the Germans seem to be the only ones who call a 622 ISO rim 28 inches--I'm accustomed to that designation on road tires from Continental and Schwalbe.
  • 1 0
@IllestT: well that's a bummer, I was hoping to buy new wheels and wanted a new standard.
  • 2 0
@barp: Perfect, I'll throw my current bikes in the trash.

I like this Commencal Mini DH

So who applied for the trademark first, CrossWorks or Unno?
  • 2 0
Ancillotti have been making this frame design since 1992.
  • 1 0
 @PB-J: Trademark, specifically "Dash".
  • 1 0
I love the frame looks, still thinking about the Dash as my next bike

 Mmm, very niiice (bike)!
