Out of curiosity, where is that "tradition" coming from ?
Is it a thing also out of PB ?
Should the adjective always start with the same letter as the prize ?
  • 3 0
@Will-narayan: it started about 4-5 years ago, Redburn started the days of Christmas jingle, I trolled it and he handed it over the next year (or the same year I can’t recall). Since then it became a trolling tradition for the prize draw. From there it’s kinda grew Beer

Is it just me that has seen the advent calender post in the front page for the first time today since dec.1st?
I was wondering why they didn't do it this year..
  • 8 0
Yeah me too, 1st time on the front page.
  • 4 1
It's geo locked - only entries from USA, Canada (except Quebec) UK and Germany. Guessing something about contest rules in different countries...
  • 6 0
It is not just you. I did not see them until now either.
  • 9 0
 Same in baguette land
  • 1 0
I ama as surprised... From december 1st????
  • 6 0
 I've seen it every day
  • 2 0
@fracasnoxteam: same in wooden shoes land
  • 3 0
Same here. I'm pretty disappointed for not entering the contest before. Now I have less than 50% of chance not to win anything
  • 1 0
 just click the ad banner
  • 1 0
@pakleni: The question is if there's any chance at winning at all. Looks like you're only able to win anything if you're a legal resident of the US, Canada, Germany or UK.

I guess it might have something to do with the Outside-takeover, as I don't recall this being a part of the contest rules the previous years.
  • 1 0
@Phthalaten: Haven't even seen that. Kinda shitty if you ask me
  • 1 0
@Phthalaten: you are right. I have seen it now. Maybe that is the reason plenty of us didn't saw it

 $380 USD value? Get real.
  • 6 0
No way a few bottles and hydration pack is worth that much
  • 2 0
@tacobravo: In this world, with today's prices everything is real Smile
  • 1 0
I looked at buying a chase protector vest this summer, clever bit of kit but there is definitely room for that price to come down IMO
  • 1 0
The description mentions the mule evo 12 pack... a little closer to reasonable if that's included
  • 18 1
Guess dont want EU cyclist on this forum no more Frown
  • 9 1
So no eligibility for NZ, Aus, Quebec & pretty much all of Europe. What a pile of crap Outside. Get your shit together & make this a truly worldwide competition like it always was!
  • 3 0
and anyone under 18. a solid 10% of people were under 18 on this site as of 2021
  • 1 0
@mior: you can have a legal guardian sign the papers to receive the prize if your under 18. It’s in the contest information.

Right folks. Start getting a bloody grip.
1) stop bitching about value. Its free if you win and its RRP.
2) read the rules. Winners are not selected until January and then “ • FOR RESIDENTS OF THE UNITED KINGDOM
Winner Notification: Potential winners will be notified by 12 January 2023 using the contact information supplied at time of entry”
3) this is a sweepstake and may well be classed as gambling in many countries. Equally they have to administer the rules for each entrant country so maybe they just applied it to the highest member countries?
4) Couponing Karen from Boston will win so why bitch anyway as you never stood a chance.

"To be eligible, you must be logged into your Pinkbike account. If you don't have one, you can sign up here." but I am logged in already? nice bug

Interesting the contest rules only talk about 7 days of prizes, all being notified in Jan. Happy to be able to do daily submissions here in the US at least.
  • 5 4
Maybe PB should do seperate Advent Calendar for all us geoblocked users up here… ftw. # imonPB2, block the other side :-)

I’m just kidding, #neverwinanything
  • 4 2
It wont matter . There are no winners , just whiners .
  • 3 0
 Almost 400$ for this? lol
  • 2 0
I really think I am going to win this time. Just like I thought last time.
  • 3 0
This bundle is $520CAD. What the helI is wrong with this industry?
  • 1 0
I wouldn't even seriously look at something like this, in this price range. That's the great thing about competition though. There's lots of competitors, that have vastly superior product, for 1/5th of the price.
  • 1 0
I’ve complained enough about these contests and no one ever winning anything wouldn’t it be just my luck I win a few water bottles?!
  • 1 1
What I don't understand is why we habe to go to a different page to click the enter button. Like why can't the button be on this page??
  • 1 0
Probably way easier to track this way
  • 1 1
So 17 days in and there are no "winners" that have been announced?
  • 1 1
They announce at the end. All at once.
  • 3 1
dude at least make an effort and read the fine print. It’s there.
  • 1 4
I thought 6 tyres was bad....how wrong i was. Yay water bottles!
