For sale is a 2013 Marzocchi 888 RC3 EVO V.2 TI. I put the price as an estimate. I’m parting with it for the cost of shipping. I have owned this fork many years but only rode twice and it was this past fall. I recently rebuilt it, but bent my oil seals slightly when reinstalling them, so they need replaced again. The foot nut/compression adjuster also needs o-rings because the current ones let oil pass. I’d do it myself again because it’s an hour job tops, but I cannot get the compression foot nut unthreaded and I have spent probably 3 hours just trying to spin it free. I have the seals and will include them in the package to whomever should want it. It rode great until the seals and o-rings gave out. Condition is decent- about what I got it at, cosmetically. - One stanchion has one small chip (pictured) in the nickel finish, but I think it’s a non-issue. They look surprisingly good despite the age. No corrosion on these. - There is also a spot (pictured) near the top adjuster on the one side from where the fork got knocked. Stanchions seem just fine, structurally. No denting or deformation is what I mean. - Black lower crown has one stripped bolt somehow, despite never exceeding torque specification. Comes with the original white crowns as well. The steerer tube on the white lower crown is tapered and just short of 6 inches in length. You probably have a modern bike that doesn’t need 7+ inches of steer tube, so the black lower is not much of a loss. If you can get the foot nut to spin freely from the compression unit, it is pretty easy to swap the oil seals (I find heating the oil seals with a hairdryer will help make it easier) and replacing the o-rings should be pretty easy too. All the adjustments worked when I last rode it. Great tunable fork for a little work. Especially great for people who prefer a softer fork or are lighter weight. Firm k=6.5n/mm titanium spring.
