Hi! I can confirm that the D3O inserts do cover the acromion and the AC joint. The pictures give that effect as they are in a resting position, in a riding position when the shoulder is more prominent the D3O inserts cover as intended. :)

Thanks! Fully agree with you, that's why we used the latest D3O. It's a really big difference compared to the old one. It's the most flexible option which guarantees proper protection to the spine/back :) (EN 1621-2:2014, Level 1)
