Press Release: TranSierra Norte announces Gravel Event

After 6 international enduro races and a lifetime of exploration in the region, we are excited to announce TransGravel. Inspired by our world-famous TranSierra Norte enduro, this event combines the adrenaline and camaraderie of stage racing, with the physical challenge of drop bar riding. Taking place in Oaxaca, Mexico, the cultural exposure that has always defined our events will be present once again.

If there is something we have learned over the last 10+ years, it's the power of the cycling community. Our events have been built on sharing the stoke, working on development with the local villages, and offering a blank canvas for like-minded riders to enjoy the ride and experience our culture the way it deserves to be experienced. We have taken our core values and ideals to a different format. Skinnier tires, more kilometers but the same spirit of adventure. TSG is another celebration of life and culture on two wheels.


The event will feature 2 days of gravel "enduro" riding and racing in mild singletrack, gravel roads, and a few tarmac transfer stages. There will be a total of 8 timed stages spread throughout the Sierra Norte. The non-timed sections of the race will be an opportunity to share the ride with fellow riders while enjoying the beautiful scenery that the region has to offer, from desertic ridgelines to deep rainforests and everything in between, the journey will be an unforgettable experience.


Join us on this new, One-Of-A-Kind cycling event that combines the physical challenge of gravel riding with the vibrant culture of Oaxaca. Event dates are June 13-16 and are limited to 65 participants.
