Tour, trail, all-mountain? Take your pick, the Hugene does it all. With 140 mm of rear travel and a choice of 140 or 150 mm in the front, this is a bike that always delivers. Whether it's a brisk trail ride, an all-day tour, or traversing the alps, the Hugene makes you a summiteer on every climb and a rocket on the descents.

In our "Frosted Mint" special edition, the Hugene is an absolute trail rocket. The silver RockShox Pike Ultimate and the Super Deluxe Ultimate offer frst-class suspension performance, the lightweight G2 Ultimate brakes in silver provide braking power and harmonize with the design of the bike. The SRAM XX Transmission groupset delivers the undisputed best shifting performance and the Reverb AXS seatpost rounds off the overall package. The ultimate lightweight combination of NEWMEN Advanced SL A.30 wheels and Schwalbe Nobby Nic tires with SuperTrail casing further underline the bike's focus: a high-performance light-weight for efficient climbing and playful descents with full control.

The frame color "Frosted Mint" will also be available to order from 12.12.23 in the PROPAIN configurator. As usual, customers can configure the Hugene according to their personal preferences. For example, if you want to put more focus on descending, you can tailor the character of the Hugene with a 150 RockShox Lyrik or Fox 36 and a more rugged tire combination. For 2024, we have also added additional new components to the configurator.

 I owned a Hugene. From light trial all the way to heavy enduro, it's very capable. One of my favorites ever ridden.

 The Hugene is a cracking bike. Had mine 10 months now and since I bought none of my other bikes get a look in. The only downside for me with choosing Propain is the looooooong delivery time. Took the frameset only option three months to arrive, even though it was in stock. That's a solid three months, not a rounded up one. Ordered a back up shock from them and I've been waiting 2 months, again a stock item. Not even despatched yet. If my next bike can't be purchased directly from their awesome Gatwick showroom, it won't be a Propain.

 While I agree that I "prefer" not to have a headset routed cable, does anyone really have any issues with a current bike that uses this system? I realize that it solves a problem that did not exist, however, it is easier for the manufacture so I suppose that it solves that problem. As a mechanic myself, I hate the idea of having to disconnect the brake line and shift cable to change a headset bearing. Other than that I really don't see much of an issue with the headset routing, I am curious to hear from others that have bikes with this.
I have a Hugene and its one of my favorite bikes of all time so far!

 Have they fixed their crazy long seattube yet? Otherwise the fit and geo looks really good. It's the reason I'm on other bikes, don't want to sacrifice 30-40mm of dropper post length

 Does this mean that Propain have got over their Cable Tourism?

 They have not. I just messaged them this week to inquire about a carbon frame without the cables routed through the headset. Their response is that the carbon frames aren’t even ported to run them any other way but through the headset. You have to get an alloy frame for that.

 @bdub5696: NOw im not saying youre wrong, cause I dont honestly know, but that rear brake is clearly not routed through the headset in the pics.
there also appears to be additional ports on both side of the headtube, where youd run cables. Are those ports present on the older models that ran cables through the headset?
@korev do you see those ports/cables on the frame?

 @bdub5696: Of note, theres a pic (black bike) that shows the cables going through the frame, not the headset. Looks like the Spindrift also doesnt go through the headset. The Tyee CF doesnt appear to have frame ports for cables, so 1 of the cf fs models doesnt have frame cable ports

 the Hugene frame was made and released before the whole cable tourism trend so it does have normal in frame routing as far as I know. It's their newest Tyee carbon that suffers from it

 @ShortJeffsyOwner: The current hugene does not have cables running through the headset, but I would not be surprised to see the next version copy the tyee headset cable routing.

 @ShortJeffsyOwner: One of my colleagues bought a Tyee and it arrived three days before the current model was announced - he was gutted! I kept on pointing out to him that not having that bollocks cable routing is a good thing.
