About the RaceFor the second year in a row the Marin Counties Access 4 Bikes has completed a successful Marinduro race. The main goal of A4B is to advocate for mountain bike riders through advocacy and fun events like the Marinduro.
The CourseThe Marinduro is a blind format enduro race. That means racers don’t have any time to preride or practice on the race course. The race is run on Camp Tamarancho trails owned Boy Scouts and maintained by A4B the land just outside of downtown Fairfax, California. A4B have done a great job of squeezing every last bit of downhill out of Tamarancho, with a total of 12 miles and 1,750’ vertical feet. As seen on the course map there are 5 stages for all racers with an additional 6th for pro and expert.
Course condition were challenging this weekend with a torrential downpour the day and night before. Almost the whole race course was soaked with six inch mud bogs for transfers. By the end of the day ruts were deep and bikes were soaked.
Note: There is an Access 4 Bikes trail work day April 6th to repair the trails.Photos

RE: Membership - I don't care for auto-renewal/card-billing in perpetuity membership schemes and the only way out I saw was Unsubscribe. Maybe I'll change my mind next year.
