For the second edition in the country, the most epic urban downhill MTB race, Red Bull Cerro Abajo, hits Guanajuato – one of the most magical little towns in Mexico.—Red Bull Bike
Im enjoying The duo announcing of Eliot with Rob more n more every race, they are good at their individual approach and very informative. Good Job Guys!
To bad we can't have them for DHWC.
It's been some races already televised with this duo... With more parricipation of the international stack of pro riders wouldn't be much difference with WC... is like now most of riders suport UCI ?.. how can sponsors be happy with only 6 races a year?... RB is pushing hard for an alternative and I don't see enough support... Then don't blame if only WC and Bikeski slalom...
Presenter Anna's translations are wack and the course marshals blow their whistles quite enthusiastically.
Rob and Eliot are on point as always. Good to see fewer crashes!
@no-good-ideas: I was referring to the translations by that chick interviewing the riders. Not jumping to conclusions as I speak multiple languages lol
@no-good-ideas: The Cerro Abajo marshaling is intriguing. The courses/broadcasts seem to have more marshals than WC/CWX (much tighter and more blind spots than typical WC/CWX tracks). I'm not sure if there's a reason for the duration of each whistleblow (maybe just wasn't specified in marshal meetings), but they all seem longer than normal and closer to when the rider passes, rather than once they're a little further down track (could just have to do with audio/video sync). On one of the follow-cams, it went from one whistle to another, making me think there may also be some enthusiastic fan whistling.
... and sometimes he says something else
Or we could just jump to conclusions and just criticize without knowing why that’s cool too.
