@powderhoundbrr: he’s been in the comment section longer than you have. Pretty worthless comment you’ve since you and 23+ other people magically didn’t comprehend vinay joke. R/whoosh
@vinay: IDK where all the downvotes are coming from- I couldn’t stop laughing! I’ve been trying to sum up the “performance” over a board and a few cinder blocks. ..you nailed it!!
kids still be doing that. Off to the side of the bike path behind my house someone recently nailed a piece of scrap wood onto a log. Looks like a truly horrendous jump, but I bet the kids who made it love that dumb thing
We've been doing Tech Briefings since 2017! You can see them all here. They're just a round up of all the brand-submitted press releases from the past month, some of which get approved to the homepage as well and some of which just appear here.
@sarahmoore: Hi Sarah, Yes pinkbike has been doing "tech briefings" for years. A more authentic title for this regular content could be "brand submitted press release round up". What thinks you, your fellow pinkbike staff and your corporate overlords?
$259.00 USD for a padded mat that folds over the back of a tail gate is ridiculous. No justification for that price point at all. I like RF kit too.. but man MTB is really out of reach now.
I’m really not into complaining about prices all the time, I still feel stuff for our hobby is kind of reasonably priced compared to some other, and I tend to see the engineering that has gone into many products… But that one is really impressive.
In my experience it’s EXT. they can build a robust kit well tuned to the rider and bike specific application. They do need a DH specific fork though. A dorado sent to a tuner would fill that gap though.
@RBalicious: I had a 96. Great truck. I Always wanted to make a “TRDam” but the new stupid nomenclature for bike disciplines has ruined the correct intention/interpretation of that idea for a pun sticker.
Always thought those TRD trucks were nice until my wife said ‘I don’t know why anyone would want to drive around with turd written on their car.’ That’s all I see now.
@ehfour feel free to quit the sport. No ones forcing you to ride bikes or buy “fr*cking expensive” gear/bikes/tools. That might actually be ideal for the rest of us. Less people in the sport would hopefully drive prices lower.
I’ve been trying to sum up the “performance” over a board and a few cinder blocks.
..you nailed it!!
Thanks Man.
Cheers.
But that one is really impressive.
What would the equivalent to you be for A Kit suspension in the Mtb world?
Always wanted to make a “TRDam” but the new stupid nomenclature for bike disciplines has ruined the correct intention/interpretation of that idea for a pun sticker.
without a TACO
Less people in a sport does not equate to cheaper. Less people = more niche = more expensive.
