 I don't get this MTB crisis. 19% revenue drop where they have had like 20% rise for like 3 previous years? If not for covid they would have earned MUCH less and would still be happy today. This is just crazy.

 It’s no crisis. Duno why we need to know. Exponential growth is the goal. First rule of goal setting is set goals you can achieve. All corporations are therefore bound to “fail”.

 Pretty much everyone over ordered product/material from shut down factories due to the covid buying boom and parts shortage. Now that the boom is over they are in crisis mode. Old stock they can’t sell and inflated prices that won’t hold up due to market saturation. It’s corporate greed and a failure to forecast realistically. I don’t get how they (companies) expected the ceiling to infinitely rise. However, I am building a killer trail bike right now for what seems like pennies on the dollar, but it’s more likely I’m getting an actual fair price.

On a positive note the podcast has been great lately! Quinny has been awesome.

 What i've been saying, they are generating numbers that are based on profits gained due to the chaotic uptick in sales from last year as if it were a normal time. They should be using pre covid era to compare their calculations. Its like comparing quality of stools without fiber in your diet, to having adequate fiber for a healthy shit!

 @Broso: whatchya building?

 @polskidrifter: Stumpy carbon, I got the frame for 44% off. I’ve been eyeballing light weight trail bikes for a while and figured I’d put my money where my mouth is when complaining about build spec values. That new SCOR really peaked my interest until I saw the pricing.

 I think you linked the wrong podcast above.

 @henryquinney: I'm laughing about you getting 3 downvotes for this comment. *Gasp "How Dare You say Thanks!!, Take it back!!"

 @misteraustin: this whole "bumbling" nonsense is straight up bullying. I actually agree with Henry and Kaz. The "look at me, look at me" culture social media and the Internet has a created is absurd and over done. Everything you do doesn't need to be on social media and some people forget to ride for the sake of riding and having fun.
Also, not a single person was commenting on this (and the podcast was released over a month ago) until some YouTuber was offended and made a video about it.

 @misteraustin: tl;dr all the people making the "bumbling" comments on every article are annoying. I hadn't drank any coffee yet before I wrote that.

 @henryquinney: hey, about the unfortunate evacuations at MSA,Quebec is the only province without helivac. Thankful, there's this incredibly cool guy working hard at fixing that. After SIXTY, yes 60 , he's just retired as the head doctor ( and head surgeon) of the Montreal Canadiens hockey team. He was also head of surgery at the Montreal General Hospital. He established the provincial trauma response system, for which he received the USA national safety Council award. He also received the Order of Canada. He is working super hard at getting helicopters. I know a professional skier has died not that long ago.

 I meant 60 years of service, with the Canadiens, on top of president of the NHL doctor association, professor at Mc Gill, and head of surgery at a major hospital.

But both won’t happen, money wise.

 Wait 30 min on someone and then ditch them when they do show, that's the A-Hole move.

 Took a drink every time Brook said "like", now I'm wasted.
