In the last five years, Nina has gone from newcomer to world cup winner. We wanted to find out about her mindset, her perception of downhill compared to her initial career in athletics and what's it like joining one of the downhill's biggest, most established, and most successful teams.

During the next month, we'll be going to podcasts every Monday and Thursday, and we hope you enjoy this cadence.

Featuring a rotating cast of the editorial team and other guests, the Pinkbike podcast is a weekly update on all the latest stories from around the world of mountain biking, as well as some frank discussion about tech, racing, and everything in between.

Nina Hoffman has been one of my fave DH ladies to root for. I was stoked to see her get first in Andorra after so many close second place finishes. She's very consistent and I look forward to seeing more gold's with her name on it moving forward.

These interviews are fantastic, thanks and great job Henry. Nice to have so much inside knowledge and backstories feeding into the questions from when you were a WC mechanic.

Way More interested into the riders that makes up the rankings like coulagnes and Nina than the super prodigy kids that sacrifices all their youth and know nothing more than DH... Seems nowadays if you are not junior world champ you can't turn pro... and it's peobeditp be false... So hope more opportunities for riders abroad...

 Question for the pod.
I found some equipment that had been left on the trail the other day. Has PB ever though about doing an online lost and found? Curious if people would find that useful. I was a little torn of what to do, whether leave them there somewhere more visible or take them and hope to find the guy. I ended up taking them home and posting a found add in the buy sell section but that seems pretty low odds of finding the guy? What do you guys do in this situation?

Odd ending. Such an abrupt cut-off. Was it a time limit that you hit? I'd love to hear more from Nina about riding in general. Let's have episode 2 in the future.
