#15 - Isn't this the same wall that gets featured a several times a year? If so, does it have an appropriate name like "the windowmaker" or the "the mangler"? Maybe "the consequence"?
That wall doesn't even look like it could be ridden by the average park visitor. It's set back from the trail and there are no tracks leading up to it. There are no tracks actually on it. I think it's put there to physically fence off the trail from that road behind it. It did it's job that day for sure - in a very painful way.
PB how come the one on the opening since is not counted ? should be included in the voting, no ? that one that was pretty gnarly. One was just straight KO, I wonder if number 7 shoulder was fine? Hope so
Define worst, which is quite a broad term, are we talking nastiest or most pathetic? We should also have a best fail option! That would go to the fella who hit the wall ride with the helmet cam!
@dcaf: Oh wow, even though this has been here a few times, I had to go back and look and you're right, it'd be a pretty technical wallride! Wonder if it's there to prevent riders from catapulting themselves onto the road or into the rocky gutter behind it?
My man must be hurting everywhere after that one woof. Like a game of crash bingo with extra credit. I hope it’s just a perspective thing but #7 looks like he goes head first into that tree.
1,7 and 13–all head impacts, and the first 2 are trees. Those provide the most deceleration on the brain - solid and unforgiving object means we absorb the energy.
I too feel better about the crashes knowing even the participants found them hilarious.
The ones where they crunch, and don't move at the end... those are rough, and I don't really enjoy watching those ones.
Alas, gravity still prevailed.........
