If anyone isn't down with the Street Ramp Kid...well, you weren't a kid and/or you don't ride bikes. I don't know who gave him the pro-tip on landing on the lawn (kid road rash heals quick though), but that's offset with the dodgy balancing of the ramp in the gutter. And as a bonus, we will likely see Street Ramp Kid make repeat appearances here so we can follow along as his career progresses.
Uh, if you downvote me it's like you're downvoting The Street Ramp Kid himself. Whoever owns that minus 1 should show themselves...and prove they own a bike. Or were a kid.
@fast-n-loose-podcast: You're totally right. We're all in this together. To show I'm actually genuine, I didn't even downvote BC Kid. It hurt me so much when SR Kid got DV'd through me I couldn't bring myself to retaliate. @alwaysOTB , let's hug it out.
just another Tuesday afternoon for Debbie, a pack of American Spirits and watching the boys huck their meat straight into the transition. (not in frame, her tall boy of Steel Reserve)
Ok not even done yet, but I was absolutely compelled to comment at only :22s in:
Awesome bike, check; carefully selected expensive colour-matched accessories like rotors, saddle, pedals, grips, etc, check; extra tube attached to top tube in clever way, check; probably something clever and expensive like EDC tool, check (wild speculation); complete lack of ability to hit a simple jump, check! DENTIST CONFIRMED.
@JamesGTi: absolutely. Obviously being on this reel they were all going to crash and burn but so many on this one were so obviously sketchy long before they crashed. That chap though could be the 'All the gear no idea' poster boy.
"Dude. This stairwell huck looks sick except for that concrete wall that's attempting to impede my natural progression as a badass." "Nah, you're good bro. I brought the camera." "True. Hold my beer."
I mean, duthie has to make its appearance every week. Soon as the clip started I guessed it was gunna be the poppy little step up that got him, not the drop. That step up claims A surprising number of victims
Seriously though.. can we have a "Duthie Edition" of Pink Bike Fails. I swear there is enough content posted to make a solid 10 min edit. The last jump on HLC can be its own chapter in the film. Call it "A Tribute to Dead Sailors"
I'm always amazed at the number of people that build kickers on flat ground. Are they so sure to reach orbit that any landing or slope would be unnecessary?
@cheeverbrent: Nothing a few beers and some Advil couldn't fix.. Im rapidly becoming an expert in crashing from trying to stay with the guys (who are much better riders than me).. Local stuff is STEEP AND DEEP.
I assume that this is the last Fail Friday for a while as there won't be any footage to post as none of us are riding at the moment, and especially not anything serious or dangerous as no one is stupid enough to be putting more pressure on their national health service!!
All my local trails are technically closed - but after watching so many people eat dirt, I guess that does help the cabin fever a bit. Not in the mood for dirt.
Holy crap, best edition of FF ever. Just about bust a gut laughing so hard. Love the slow roll offs on 4’ ladder jumps! Yeah, I’ll just levitate off this thing!
Mountain biking irresponsibly during the COVID-19 pandemic puts you and others at risk. Riding injuries put unnecessary stress on medical systems that need all available resources to fight the virus, and group rides increase your chances of exposure. Please follow all local health authority directives, and DO NOT take risks.
@powpowpow ...disclaimer: I haven't (and don't care to know how to) checked metadata on any of these videos.
Why do so many people think these things happened just this week? Some may have, but lots of lazy people are late to edit/upload/whatever their video to the site. The existence of FF does not necessarily mean we're the straw that's breaking the camel's back. I have no doubt there will be news if some dolt biker does do something similar to partying on a beach with thousands of others.
Telling people not to take risks, then publishing videos profiting from people taking risks. 100% hypocrisy!

@stevelarson: Uh, I don't think Friday Fails comes with some tagline saying "buy our stuff". I assume they profit from a few different angles that would continue regardless of "plague X" or "tariff Y". I've never purchased PB swag simply because I don't need more tshirts.
I think you're narrowly focussed on this one and that's your prerogative. But I think you'll find a lot of hypocrisy and cognitive dissonance in several areas of life, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. Most more important that Pinkbike. But you choose where to lay your gauntlet.
@stevelarson: Looking at your last several posts today, I'd say your gauntlet is not only narrowly focussed, but very heavy. You're carrying quite a load for some reason. Should probably steer clear of the merch page, no?
@Brownsworthy: The pressure on the healthcare system is from hypochondriacs. There's nothing anybody can do about that. Except for the media of course, who has created this hysteria. Pinkbike included. f*ck 'em all.
@stevelarson: Haha. All this after not watching at least this FF, but presumably others before this Ok. So you basically just came here to lecture everyone after repeatedly telling PB to go f*ck themselves on the very forum you're telling to go f*ck itself. Like I said, you're likely to find cognitive dissonance in many aspects of life, namely your own.
Everyone get a haircut and hit some grass!

No shit got me in 2011, dislocated my shoulder.
Damn son!
These people are mostly halfwits with ideas way above their skills.
Translates well, across many languages!

These cynical f*ckers think they're entitled to our clicks while lecturing us NOT to do what they profit off of.
I'll never spend a dime on their jerk off shitty, merch.

Get off your high horse, mate.
They're simply providing some entertainment for those who can't get out there during this troubling time.
They have emphasized in previous articles not to put yourself in danger to not put more undue pressure on the health system.
