@Adamrideshisbike: Yeah most new trails are built around electronic motors bikes now... wide uphills, non technical descents or no drops. New trails are built like steel rollercoasters, boring.
@DroppingThreeTwoOne: Yeah, that process is well underway. Try building a corner nowadays without a berm or leaving a section off-camber. People don't know what to do.
@Adamrideshisbike: Agreed. These days some of the best corners are found on XC trail descents because they only used a saw to get rid of the branches and a rake to get rid of the leaves/needles.
For some reason, this is the only website where I constantly have problems viewing the video content. Pinkbike, do you reformat the video content that comes in and then send out? Trying to figure out what’s going on
@DroppingThreeTwoOne: Not around here (WA), plenty of raw tech to be found. You actually need to go looking for flow (unless you're in bellingham or at duthie).
@DroppingThreeTwoOne: you haven’t seen a lot, right? Your statement is based on anecdotal evidence - besides, there are quite a few riders with eBikes out there that like it technically difficult and can ride it. And a lot of clips on Friday Fails show that there are plenty of, say, no-so-skilled riders on bio bikes.
I can usually feel the rider is incompetent even before they crash. Just by how they are so unbalanced on the bike, POV or otherwise. Really sad how poor people's judgement is whem attempting features they're clearly not ready for.
New Krashima coated shocks in action! Brought to you by Friday Fails participants. Just when you thought things couldn't get anymore Krashier, Krashima, there for all your Friday Krashing needs.
Been saying this for a while - They need a week where every video is followed by "You OK". And then a week where every video is followed by "Oh Shit!" This week there was one that had "Shit, you OK"!
@bman33: Exactly. The trail is a super easy green called Waterworks that the local kids build BMX jumps on then unskilled people try to hit them on their FS bikes they just bought.
@erikvehmeyer: Those jumps seem to change from week to week with a constant game of cat and mouse between builders and rangers. Sometimes they look the same as the last time you hit them but the transition is way tighter. It's funny recognizing a local trail in the Friday Fails. Hard to believe anyone's been helicoptered out of that trail. That's where I take my 6 year old.
:25 and :28 ... two confusing clips in a row... how do you invert gravity that quickly, and why grab a fistful of brakes on the mellow straight landing like that?
First crash raised a question; did both the rider and cameraman "crash" simultaneously? I also have a question for the editors of FF to mull over ; would it be possible to have a cold bar, like red, or blue, to appear before each subsequent fail, to indicate to us viewers whether the upcoming vid clip showed a fail that resulted in serious injury, or not.? I think that would be helpful to viewers, on many different levels. Educashunalwise that is.....
Can we try and mute out the coarse language please? I love watching this with my 3 and 5yo kids as they get a great laugh out of the crashes, but I'm a bit hit and miss with my muting and then get questioned "was that a bad word?". I'd watch it on mute but the sound of the crunches really helps to transfer the pain. Cheers!
Maybe watch it on your own first so you know where to mute. What about the crashes where people are speaking other languages? Pinkbike would need an army of interpreters to ensure no one from non English speaking countries was offended.

"Nebber bebber!"
keep i t up dude
Those jumps are super fun if you know how to ride them. Definitely have gotten bucked a little nose heavy the first time hitting them, though.
The jumps are pretty fun though.
