How about that masterful camera work Landscape mode and I didn't drop the camera and should "are you okay!?" before you hit the ground. I'm a little proud of that lol
Hey Nick, I couldn't find any instructions on how to submit a video for Friday Fail consideration. I have a couple of good candidates =). Can you let me know how you uploaded the videos, to where, and what you titled it? Couldn't find any steps anywhere on PB.
@wally16545: Upload it in your account as "short clips/crashes". I tagged it as #FridayFails just to be safe, but I don't know if that's necessary. I uploaded this back in October though, so there might be some delay.
@hqrsie: A good fail is like a Hollywood blockbuster: sure we see the stars in front of the camera but there's many more people behind the scenes. Enjoy your Failcademy Award for outstanding achievement in cinematography!
@texag: oh I understand that and know that I was on the wrong horse when the quote is used as context. I was trying to show that the op had both names jumbled together.
@nickman69: Fair play. You should tag TLD in it or something. Maybe they can do you a custom Rey Mysterio helmet. Perhaps one with a softer peak that wont cut your feet off at the shins as you taco-fold around the next tree.
I can't do the emojis on here so i'll just say 'smiley face' so you know i mean that in a good-natured manner.
@DidNotSendIt: Bahahaha not a bad idea and I would totally rock a new helmet. I'm actually wearing a "hardhat" which doesn't follow the same regulations as a helmet in the video.
This was all Covid's fault. If my BJJ gym hadn't shutdown I wouldn't have been riding my bike. uh-oh did I just say that
@nickman69: Dude that came out of nowhere, first Friday fail of 2021 and what a banger Hope you were fine though, slammed so hard I was like "yep, he ded".
@bananowy: Thankfully I am fully healed. I'm biking tonight actually!! the result was a compression of my T11 ( I lost 25% of it. I think I lost a little bit of others as well as I shrunk 3/4 of an inch after the crash for some odd reason. Also messed up ligament's in my shoulder. Not my first but definitely my worst slam. I'm heading back up in the spring to conquer. It's actually a pretty small drop...
I have to say, watching beginners stack can be cringe-inducing, but nothing is worse than watching someone who legit knows what they're doing blow up while fully committed.
I swear to god, most FFs must include at least one
I still have my favourite though. Don't think I'll be able to find it now in past FFs, but it was with a guy's bike breaking in half on a small double and the cameraman pauses for 2 seconds before a very emotional O KURWA when the rider is already in the dirt. I think it was that pause that made me piss myself.
Several of these I wouldn't even call fails.. I'd say they were pretty good saves. For instance, take the kid doing the drop that saved himself from going down by clinging to the rear tire with his b@llsack!
Tables are great because you can send them to flat a few times to build up confidence. Gap jumps are scary. A few of them this week were hard to watch.
A little calculated caution will go along way to not staying hurt all the time to. Work up slow and dont make the newb fail clip. Not being a hero wont stop you from having fun IMO.
@cougar797: also, as an old guy, stay young. I'm hurt all the time; kids have serious bails that put them out for max 48 hours. Not yet sure how to follow my own advice.
2021. Riders of the world, caught totally off guard by the new manufacturers standard of the 75 lb. front wheel. There is no other explanation, well this, and the magnetic trees.
Props to the Redding, CA guys for building that trail gap on Enticer at 4:00! Easily of the best trails in California. And go for it again guy! You got it!
yeah, I'm kind of on the fence about seeing a spot I ride featured on here, especially since that area has seen recent trail closures and features removed by the land manager for "safety reasons".
Landscape mode and I didn't drop the camera and should "are you okay!?" before you hit the ground. I'm a little proud of that lol
*pushes up glasses*
Isengard, where Saruman lived for the events of the Two Towers, borders the ancient Fangorn forest, last stronghold of the ents.
Sauron was in Mordor in a different area.
Pushes up horn rim glasses with tape holding it together in the middle.
In the book, Saruman lives to the very end and his death is nearly the last scene...
Poland: KURWA! PIERDOLONY!

Also the open sequence has to win the Oscar for most creative and fitting the most ways to crash into a single event.

And the classic slow drop-off nosedive...
And go for it again guy! You got it!
The places I noticed are Enticer and Santa Village, those are legit tho so...
