 wow....the opening clip.....jebus!
  • 36 0
I think he should take on ski jumping.
  • 31 11
Is there a post crash interview where he explains wtf the little pumping mid-air was going to do? or was that his natural fear response to "I'm going to eat shit...hard"?
  • 94 2
Who's tuning in tomorrow to to see if he lands it on Saturday Sends?
  • 4 3
Must have been a Super Duper Boost hub testing.
  • 9 0
@ReformedRoadie: even the bike was saying: this is gonna suck.
  • 6 0
He had well over a second to twitch in fear in the air.
  • 30 0
@ReformedRoadie: trying to stop the forward rotation. He could well have landed it, but looked like he was headed off the trail.
  • 31 0
 Looks like Seth Enslow.
  • 13 0
@ReformedRoadie: I just want a post crash interview. That was the best overshoot I've ever seen.
  • 32 0
I don't know why it broke, I was just riding along....
  • 7 0
@rhagelaar: No joke! There are probably a lot of people who do not get that reference but it is spot on!

was that guy impersonating Doge coin?
because that was to the moon.
  • 1 0
really makes me smile to think of the kid at 2:44 narrating the opening clip
  • 2 3
Looked like if he didn't panic he might have been able to land that.
  • 5 1
..the panic in the air...stay on the bike..bail...stay on the bike...bail...Not sure there was a correct option
  • 4 0
Hoodie was catching the wind the entire time...bigger one might have been useful as a parachute.
  • 3 0
@DirtBagTim: was going to say - even if he didn't land it, he needs to be on Sat sends, that was HUGE! I'm guessing he went way bigger than he wanted, no way he's landing that if he's going that big.
  • 10 1
@rhagelaar: you going to die your going to ragdoll, ragdoll, ragdoollllll

"I'd go to the doctor I needed too, I don't need to right now"...."you've got some serious problems you need to work out with yourself"....
  • 2 0
 @IUChris: Crusty!!!
  • 2 0
 @rhagelaar: Crusty!!!
  • 9 0
First time I've watched the opening Fail 5 times in a row and paused to check the comments. So brutally Human.
  • 1 0
I'm not sure where he thought he was going.....
  • 6 0
@Lemmyschild: the worst crashes are the ones where there is enough time before impact for it to sink in that you're f''d, and a world of pain is imminent.
  • 4 0
Overshot Friday Fails all the way into Saturday Sends!
  • 1 0
@rhagelaar: is that guy still alive?
  • 2 1
@ReformedRoadie: Think he was getting ready/contemplating ditching the bike
  • 1 0
@rhagelaar: first video I ever saw of that dude was when that bolt head punched through his forehead. Holy sh*t!
  • 4 0
Reminded me of Doug Henry and "Henry's Hill"
  • 1 0
 @mtbschrader:
Old Mate might've landed on his wheels but then what?
  • 2 0
He was thinking...Huston....We have a problem!
  • 1 0
@ReformedRoadie: indeed. In that case, by that criteria, i'd say that crash was about a 15 on a scale of 1 to 10
  • 1 0
@Insectoid: Those were not nervous twitches, they were the pre-sonic boom ocillations that a flying object encounters at those speeds and altitudes.
  • 59 0
Hugging a tree increases levels of hormone oxytocin. This hormone is responsible for feeling calm and emotional bonding. When hugging a tree, the hormones serotonin and dopamine make you feel happier. I guess so.
  • 31 0
USADA enter the chat Sir, that's too much tree hugging there, I'll have to ban you from competitive racing for 4 years.
  • 11 0
@Elgaucher: UCI has entered the chat. Everyone here has been blinking too rapidly and will now need to be fined and banned as well.
  • 5 0
there are other, better, ways to increase oxytocin.
  • 7 0
 @ReformedRoadie: Hunter S. Thompson has entered the chat......,,,;;;~~~""" ^ * * *
  • 2 0
 mtn bikers love their timber........
  • 1 1
@Elgaucher: pretty sure that guy hugs a glass dick, not a tree.
  • 58 0
2:33 - What was that jump made out of? An upright piano and a rotten pallet?

Similar to Thrasher's "worst skateparks" series, PB should put together a compilation of horribly constructed jumps and trail features.
  • 3 0
FF should be required viewing for aspiring trail builders. For instance, why put a roller immediately after a landing, so many examples of what not to do.

Dude did literally nothing right but OK
  • 12 0
@JXN1: Except most riders (myself most certainly included) would never attempt the "Icarus Airlines" type send that dude did.
  • 21 0
at .50 LMAO when the camera man says, "you alright" while his buddy is still unfolding from the scorpion.
  • 1 0
That crash looked and sounded brutal.
  • 1 0
Nah, he was still folding when the guy asked. It was like a no skid scorpion too. All fold, no skid.
  • 1 0
Also the two other guys that both say, "he's dead" as he leaves the lip. lol
  • 18 0
Today’s fails brought to you by seized front hubs and groping trees.

Also, how did the film my reoccurring nightmare and post it as the first clip? (Even though he crashed, that was still freaking rad)
  • 1 1
I'm so glad I'm not the only one with that nightmare!
  • 6 0
Any bigger and he woulda needed to file a flight plan.
  • 21 1
When are these people going to learn ..........hold the phone horizontal
  • 18 0
Was that fatbike a wedding fatbike?
  • 4 0
 SE Fat Ripper
  • 4 0
 @MTBee: Super Emo?
  • 14 0
These videos represent the best of us. A bunch of nerds going full send in the woods with zero F's given. And that opening send was the thing of nightmares. Stuck up in the air falling with no bottom in sight. Absolutely insane!
  • 2 0
 I'm not a nerd, you're a nerd..
  • 9 0
1:20... don’t worry son, I’ll tow you in slowly so you don’t have enough speed
  • 2 0
That poor kid never had a chance.
  • 7 0
1st clip: When you've overshot and see the landing disappear faster than your rate of descent. I'm not a religious man, but I have said a prayer to the trail gods in those moments.
  • 3 0
There was a considerable amount of send there.
  • 8 0
1:43 really hope this yellow lab vs mud puddle that was cut makes the Saturday Sends!
  • 7 0
Pretty sure they edited out the part where doggo runs over licks the riders face. "Oh boy, this is my favorite thing, I love mud and I'm glad you do too." Then they both get out of the puddle and doggo shakes himself off on rider and camera man. It's good to be a dog!
  • 8 0
Opening clip... Dude was like "full sends only bro"

Rider- "I gotchu"
  • 7 0
What happened? "I missed the hill."
  • 5 0
That lad shredding through the snow is 100% a send. So sick! And the last slo-mo one is a great example of what happens when you spin too early on a 3.
  • 5 0
Just surviving that first one, let alone walking away is in no way a fail. Well done!
  • 5 0
That rare moment when Friday Fails and Saturday Sends can use the same opening clip....
  • 4 0
As someone who does a lot of trail drainage work, that monster puddle at 1:37 is the scariest thing I've seen in a long time!
  • 4 0
This must be the edit where they put everyone in who lands the trick then endos five feet later on a pebble.
  • 2 0
Absolutely brutal this week....some of those were hard to watch, especially @ 0:50. Also, what in the world was the bike in 0:42...did he launch a steel single speed cruiser?
  • 1 0
@mongobrah: I didn't know this was a thing, thx for posting link.
  • 2 0
@mongobrah: he gets full props for riding it though! That’s a sidewalk cruiser for most people.
  • 2 0
@mongobrah: they need to work harder on their pedal names.
  • 1 0
2:36 is the opening drop to the Boyscout jumps in Pacifica. It's probably about a 5-8 foot drop depending on how far you send it, and has a pretty flat lander. Looks like the dude sent it on a hard tail with locked knees and racked himself, poor dude, also that is some poison oak he landed in. Anyways, that's a super fun jump trail, there is a POV video of it in my profile.
  • 1 0
I don’t recall the gap, so why was opener dude going full on peddling. Falling from space was awesome. Longest jump landing area ever. There were no trees on the whole hill side, so he probably could have held on and road it out. Love it!

Agree, why all the front brakes this week?
  • 3 0
Opening seen looks like if he stayed on he bike he just might have pulled it off...way off...
  • 2 0
I think we have established that a high seat post is not a part of a successful recipe for a landing from a jump of any kind.
  • 1 0
Good news people. We've brought in a special group of riders that have an uncanny skill for identifying which trees need safety padding for our course. Okay boys, go mark the trees for us, but make sure it's obvious!
  • 1 0
Opening clip is amazing and scary as sh*te at the same time.
Gotta tip my hat to the dude - he‘s got balls bigger than mine!
  • 2 0
That second rider at 2:12.... he was proper f*cked! Hope the hospital wasn't too far.
  • 1 0
These were some of the best yet as a group. I love that they weren't moving very fast and just getting worked. Sprinkle in some tree faceplants and it's a winner.
  • 1 0
Luckily, all these are all just deep fakes. Nobody actually wrecks anymore. We all learned how not to wreck by studying episodes 1 through 166.
  • 1 0
2:37....every 6 months or so, like a fine clock, there's a FF of the squirrel catcher at the top of Boy Scout in Pacifica. lmao
  • 3 1
 Que Awol Nations hit "FAILLLLL"
  • 1 0
@3:00 we will never know if he came up short or if he was trying to be like Brage and overshot.
  • 1 0
I concur, best opening clip ever! For a second I thought a parachute was gonna' be deployed.
  • 1 0
2:45 - "so smooth and clean" - surly not talking about the rider dropping in
  • 2 0
 the opening part just insane
  • 1 0
@2:47 "That thing is so smooth and clean"- *checks url and confirms, still on pinkbike, not brazzers.
  • 2 0
if in doubt, front brake it out.
  • 2 0
This week is brought to you by not doing push ups ever.
  • 2 0
First one was so close to Saturday Sends.
  • 1 0
FF lovers, check out the Kriss Kyle video from a couple of days ago. There's a sick fail at the beginning.
  • 2 0
 That opener: Respect the Send!
  • 1 0
1:31 That was one of the scariest thing I have seen in a while...it's called "cone of death".
  • 2 0
The rare full scorpion at 0:51. Brutal
  • 1 0
We need to credit trees and track-suit bottoms for providing the majority of the content this week.
  • 1 0
always the same shit 1. poor suspension set up 2. trees are magnets 3. stop using your face to come to a stop
  • 1 0
The words of the day are ejection and trees. Even a couple of dudes on hardtails hit the damn launch button!!
  • 1 0
If I ever hear the soft and distant words “so smooth and clean” I can be sure the opposite is about to be the outcome.
  • 1 0
Still trying to figure out why so many people are blowing off the front...not meant as a dig, it's just amazing.
  • 1 0
The Chromag frame warranty department never has to watch these videos because they never fail.
  • 1 0
This needs someone to add mortal kombat kicks and sweeps into the video....
  • 1 0
if you know what to look for, you'll see a full moon at 0:43
  • 1 0
amazing how many mountain bikers are attracted to those magnetic trees
  • 1 0
Good lawd, dude in opening clip went into low earth orbit!!
  • 2 1
 Rider: Fully over the bars.

Filmer: OOPS!
  • 1 0
 2:30 someone call @trail.police
  • 2 0
 2:08 Sausage Time!!!
  • 1 0
1:54 If Eeyore tried mountain biking
  • 3 2
First guy shoulda taken Dogecoin with him to the moon
  • 1 0
Yep - he should have just HELD!
  • 1 0
this week's friday fails brought to you by: grabbing too much front brake
  • 1 0
Using your face seems to a popular, albeit unfortunate, e-brake.
  • 1 0
My mans at 3:20 thought he was VinnyT
  • 1 0
So much OTB carnage this week!
  • 1 0
 0:51 cervical chance fractures
  • 1 0
Greatest opening FF send of all time. Legend.
  • 1 0
I'm starting to worry more about hitting trees without a full face .Hmmm
  • 1 0
when you saw the puddle you just knew
  • 1 0
And that last one isn't a fail
  • 1 0
There should be a ‘got my first bike during Covid’ category.
  • 1 0
At :47...did he blow a tire or was it the 3rd man on the grassy knoll?
  • 2 0
He clamped down on the bars; unfortunately his hands were wrapped around his brake levers. Same reason we teach to keep your finger away from the trigger until you're ready to shoot Wink
  • 1 0
Why I don't buy second hand bikes. Mind you, none broke (that we saw)
  • 1 0
P-Town in the mix again @ "Pedal!"
  • 2 0
 0:50 to 1:00 was brutal
  • 1 0
1:33 that’s some front wheel romance right there
  • 1 0
This one had some real jems in it
  • 3 0
 Truly outrageous.
  • 1 0
 3:08 sounds like something broke
  • 1 0
 @2:05 not the tree
  • 1 0
 Such a fine selection!
  • 1 0
 So much pain
