@santoman: Or other thought is he intended to land WAY further back then that and overshot the heck out of his intended target thus adding a lot of extra drop.
@cougar797: not too sure, looked like there was no slope had he landed further back...would have been a 30' huck to flat. Either way, that was huuuuuge. anyone know where this is?
@santoman: None, they all get removed by the evil trail pixies... come to think of it they probably also put the tire marks at the bottom there to act as a lure!
@ben314: Sir, you have a pint waiting for you in NorCal, and another one in West Virginia it looks like. If your favorite local pub accepts 3rd-party beverage purchase, I'll arrange that with them in case you prefer.
This has to be the best FF for a long time. Its that balance between absolutely brutal wipeouts that make you wince, crashes where you go wtf how did that happen and some that just have you in stitches laughing they are so ridiculous. Winner
I am still trying to figure out how not sticking a 360 or bouncing off after landing a 40 foot drop is anything but a win. 99% of us will never even try.
Does anyone understand the scientific concept of why you turn the camera to the ground immediately upon seeing a crash happen? Your buddy does not need you for the next 2 seconds and your sole job is to get good footage of whatever is about to happen.
man, i gotta give it to those riders that have more balls than skills. still sitting down on the face of jumps? you are the reason i stopped coaching kids to mountain bike. can't be responsible for the ones who, immediately after the "safety according to your skill level" talk, make it a career goal to end up here on fridays. but again... props for the courage and freeing up more time for me to ride.
My brain cannot comprehend 2:58. I need someone to explain it to me like I am in first grade because I don't want that to happen to me. It looks like the front wheel goes backward at one point.
He had floppy dick legs and didn't press into the lip, and his ass dropped back and hit the rear tire right as the rear tire was going up the lip. His ass stopped the tire dead and flung him OTB.
@jdkellogg: Thank you. I have seen videos like that before where the bike turns into a trebuchet and it is stopping the rear wheel that is the culprit. But it looks weird because you think it will be ok because he has his weight back and his front wheel is up.
@ceecee: If you have enough experience riding jumps you can see instantly what is going on when someone has no idea what they are doing hitting jumps they have no business going near.
Opening clip...riding buddies, standing absolutely motionless as their friend piledrives himself headfirst into the ground...then in the most monotone voice possible, "ou al'right?"

Yes, there should be a separate Fails category for mechanical dopers or at least a filter.
