PB please let us know when the kid at 2:15 has managed to stop, pretty sure they are still in the air...hope they are ok but man did I laugh. I guess dad should have spotted on the high side.
I think a whole sub genre of Father's Friday Fails would be great. Being childless but having lots of friends with kids I'll do my part: hold the camera and shout "you got this!".
@overconfident That was a self inflicted Pyle Driver. I certainly hope there was a lesson learned because that’s not something that can be repeated and walked away from
today's themes seemed to be: (1) the common OTB / weak upper-body landing and (2) the "Secondary is much worse than the Primary", ex: fighting the bad landing and running into a tree, frist rider crashes causing the next to crash much worse, botching a tricky section launches you head first into a big drop, etc.
Luckily it looks like a lot of people walked away from some nasty looking crashes.
Love his friends gasp upon the nose dive. I would have gasped when I saw his entry speed (or lack of). How does someone hitting a drop, with this very nice and long landing, decide this amount of speed is right?
Some heavy crashes this week, and you can see the split second where things start to go pear shaped for them. What was with the guy at :36, if I can't win I'm going to throw my bike at you. And that sketchy shack at the 3:00 mark, is that where they drag the bodies back after they have sprung their bike trap?
I wonder how many of these riders(or crashers) have been in Friday Fails before? Some of them seem like there’s a good chance they could even brag about it Like “oh yah well I’ve been in more Friday Fails than you bro “ You know, Like a professional Friday Failer
Something snaps at 0:27, maybe just a tire but sounded worse. Guy at the end doesn't know what overgrown is, that was a fairly clear trail. Agree with the assessment that this was brutal.
I can't remember a 'Friday Fails' with more carnage than this!! It's like everyone made an extra effort, left the house determined to go that 'extra mile' - certainly in the case of the unfortunate kid! ) Crazy
Child : "ah ah ah". Crash!!!
Dad: "Oh My God!" Please don't tell your mom. Please don't tell your mom!
Kid: watch Friday Fails #176, go straight to 2:15
[is that enough speed? surely that's not enough speed? no that was not enough speed]
"Not only do I not have enough speed? I'll show you no speed and I'm gonna use my face as a hammer"
Luckily it looks like a lot of people walked away from some nasty looking crashes.
I would also like to add one more theme: Some of the crashes could have been prevented if the riders were using clip less pedal instead of flats...
Oh man, I so want to name a grade5 trail with that!

In 10 years we should do a “Where is he now?” Segment. Hope his Dad has found him by then.
Like is the bike ok? Are they alive. So many questions
First guy trying to jump with his seat up though *facepalm
2:30 - NOT Mitch Ropelato
