@shrockie saw your comment while watching the video...thought...there are lots of backflip fails, which one could he mean......but then I saw the ending. *chef's kiss* ...just fantastic
Yeah, the last fail usually is a bit so so. That was one of the best ever and also one of the best slo-mo's ever. It would be cool if there was some way to know which segment of a given friday fail had the most rewatches.
We deserve slo-mo back flip launch as part of the field test!
Enough with these silly impossible climbs and hucks to flat - give us the information we truly need to make an informed purchasing decision.
still trying to figure out how he flipped forward if his weight was shifting backwards for a flip....was it the lip of the jump or did he "taint brake" the rear wheel? I'm thinking the latter, which makes this all the more special
@blowmyfuse: Thank you for your attention to detail. It provided a much greater appreciation for the last 'fail". I'll take 1 t-shirt in a medium please.
@Linkpin: Yep I agree, you have to tug on the bars... once you get your lift from the lip. His timing absolutely sucked.. and that's what makes Friday fails so much fun.
How can the guy think it’s a good idea to go fast on a bike when he has no ability AT ALL to avoid crashed people in front of him (keeping sufficient distance alternatively)
@owlsmyles Absolutely! Thought it was definitely the best until that last clip witch, I think we can all agree, is of a different magnitude altogether! As usual, hats off to all involved
@RayDolor: Really? No way in hell given his speed and body positioning that he's going to make it to the outside of that corner. www.pinkbike.com/photo/21289624
@everythingsucks: It right as you drop out of what used to be the AM DH course where the left hander sort of flat hip is popping out onto the slope then dropping into the final berms.
@ahoose1: Haha you got it next time man. I've done many suis over that tape but I imagine pulling for a backie is more like off a flat drop than a kicker
I want to thank all of those bike park builders out there for helping facilitate some truly spectacular fails! One of the best compilations ever I'd say!?
Do yourselves a favor & pause it at 3:51 & then again at 3:53.
I've made a suggestion to the trail crew to use that screen grab as a Black/Yellow Road sign style trail sign.
If I had any photoshop skills, I'd make them a t-shirt.
It’s beautiful.
Was trying to say it's really difficult to do a backflip without pulling on the bars.
Kinda stoopid .
Quite entertaining, in a Three Stooges way!

It's called Hellbender now. Right under the lift.
"Are you alright?"
No need for any more.
Also, more awkard fails in slowmo please!
...No still crashing actually
Dad at 2:49 - "You alright?" Power move, dad
And the last fellow ... his bike was eager to eject him.
