Biggest fail of the week my was CTO John trying to ban me from the comments section only to get one-upped by Brian Park!
Hope you boys are ripping gravel roads this weekend!

@SangamonTaylor: Glad to hear it Taylor. Pick up some non-alchoholic IPAs (I love the Athletic Beers brand) and Gluten Free Granola (I love the Whole Foods brand) for a post-ride treat!
Robin, you're doing great things on this site. I was so inspired I sold my Wreckoning to buy a new e-gravel bike, with the leftover money I was able to buy a sixer of non-alcohlic IPAs that I'm going to be sharing with my dentist friends on our next ride. Cheers!
@BoobyHill: Im so glad to hear it Booby (meow...love that name)...tell me how she rides, I found putting a Lefty on my eGravel bike made a big difference in performance and weight savings!
@suspended-flesh: I'm so glad you brought up dogs...my Goldendoodle, Batman is my best friend (get it!?!? Batman and Robin!?!). He gets better treatment than my kids and I even let him sit in the front seat of the Model X sometimes.
When it comes to all things dogs I love to support my good friend, Will Blount the CEO over at Ruffwear in Bend Oregon. He's been doing a great job keeping Batman geared out over the years. Okay, back to why I was so glad you brought this up - he and I have partnered to give PB users and their 4 legged friends the ultimate hookup. I propose that each week, the lamest Friday Fail is given the "ewww" at 2:15, but I'd like the sound to come from the disdainful and disappointed Captain Morgan at 3:10.
I swear, that same question week after week after week. Talk about a leading question. "No I'm not ****ing OK, and I probably won't be for a very long time". -Me, usually.
Lessons: Friends shouldn't let friends navigate trails destined to add pain from crashing. And for those sending and sh1t happens, I offer no judgement.
Suspension, Suspension, Suspension. You're not setting your bike up correct!. Simple rule to follow, if you're not going to send it, don't attempt it. Most likely no one's bike is set up for "not sending it", that's always going to be a fail. If you're going to send it, then learn how to set up your suspension. Or don't, because i enjoy the Friday Fails, so keep them coming.
Rider error, not suspension. If I'm doing a gap, drop, or rock garden nicely, no-one on earth could then change my suspension setting enough to send me OTB.
I am still amazed that people think you should pull up on a drop. (You preload your suspension instead, unless you're looking to lessen the amount of drop)
Depends on speed and angle of drop whether to pull up or not... hey that kinda rhymes, maybe I'm thinking of hitting fast lines. Though the rain that fell last night is gonna make the possibility of staying on the trail kinda tight. Maybe I'll sit back and drink a couple pale ales and watch an other episode of Friday fails.

How many "earth, sky, earth, sky" was that at 1:10?
Try to get on a pumptrack with bmx or even my steel 26er from 1997.
