Had it coming at 1:30; there’s a limit to how much jelly you can put on a pb&j without ruining the whole damn sandwich
  • 20 12
concur! watching people ride like twats, then get served up a twatsandwich is pretty rewarding!
  • 18 0
@conoat: Yep, that one was particularly satisfying!
  • 36 3
He was probably just having fun on his bike? Y'all are weird af
  • 20 5
@Bro-LanDog: bro.....everyone in FF "was" having fun on their bike......then they dun f*ckered up! then we laugh at them.

are you new here??
  • 23 5
@conoat: laughing at em sure, but callin the dude a twat and judging his riding before the crash idk not my style
  • 7 5
@Bro-LanDog: you are apparently not familiar with the usage of Twat in the UK.....lol
  • 5 1
 @conoat: guess not.
  • 3 0
Need a lot of mustard to cover that hotdog.
  • 1 0
 @Bro-LanDog:
He might not be a twat, but we have all been guilty of not paying due diligence to the task at hand and be kinda goofin off- at that moment we were being twats. It comes and goes. But you're right in a sense too.
  • 2 0
@conoat: first clip where i've actually wanted them to crash, skiddy twat got served up
  • 1 0
@conoat: agreed that exactly explains it
  • 1 0
@Bro-LanDog: the riding was messy over jibbing junk that got punished.
  • 2 4
@PaulieAU: and you care why? Let people be. That's sociopath vibes.
  • 3 2
@Bro-LanDog: bro dog......you complained about how "weird" everyone was for laughing at the dingus in the video and now, you are calling someone a sociopath for saying his riding was messy(which it was but whatever)?

this is what your shrink would call projection, I think...
  • 3 4
@conoat: nice try. I'm still not the one thinking people deserve to crash because of how they want to ride a bike.
  • 2 4
@Bro-LanDog: anyone that rides in a way that invites crashing, deserves to crash.

you're saying people that speed and run red lights don't deserve to crash?
  • 3 2
Not sure where the redlights and speed limits are on the trails. Must be a UK thing.

OK PB content producers, Friday Fails is the one thing I look forward to and its my distresser. Just like the sun announcing the beginning of a new day, FF announces that I only have to push for a few more hours till we get to ride my bikes. STOP Posting it late you're giving me anxiety. ok rant over.
  • 1 2
I think 11:00am CST has been the norm for the past couple of weeks
  • 2 0
@SATN-XC: I'm swear it just to be earlier before the acquisition .. Thanks outside
  • 4 0
@FanGar: you are not wrong, Outside is waging a war on work productivity
  • 2 0
 destressor?

or was distresser a Freudian slip?
  • 4 0
@overconfident: notice it to late...ESL by Fridays I also run out of English
  • 9 0
Try living here in Australia - we don’t see Friday fails until Saturday
  • 6 0
@bravefart: The ultimate Friday Fail - one. day. late.
  • 4 0
@bravefart: Ditto for the land of the rising sun.
  • 1 0
 @rrolly: LMAO
  • 17 0
I miss the "let me Ibis do the job!" guy
  • 12 0
His spirit lives on in ~93% of all FF submissions....
  • 13 0
I don't even need to finish, Tractor Kid for the win.
  • 3 0
It could also be a McCormick Farmall durability advertisement: "mountain bikers bounce off our machine like so many dirt clods!"
  • 3 0
@RayDolor: the clunk was really satisfying
  • 11 0
1:48: [rewinds to make sure that was a full face he was wearing]

[oh]
  • 3 0
TBH he hit it that square on it might not have made much of a difference! Suppose would have been better than nothing though.
  • 5 0
1:47 my first thought was I just witnessed a death
  • 2 0
That was a rough impact. I hope he's OK.
  • 2 0
 Face. Meet tree.
  • 1 0
@McFuntish: his bones and lips/skin/eyebrows/eyes disagree.
  • 9 0
 knew it
  • 8 0
that is the most annoying twatish thing to say....
  • 11 3
 1:30 was rather satisfying really.
  • 6 0
Well at least this week most of them kinda made it and bounced off after they landed the first time, I’ve also gotta say watching 1:30 made me smile
  • 4 0
Some say that just watching Friday's fails gives you 72 hours of invincibility, indestructibility and general crashproof Big Grin
Call me a weirdo, but I forgot to watch it once. I broke my leg that weekend in the bike park. Wink
  • 6 0
The guy at 3:02 found his Christmas tree...
  • 3 0
If you gotta hit a tree, make sure it's a young healthy snuggly one
  • 6 0
1:10 "knew it" never gets invite to ride again.
  • 1 0
Hey hey, go easy on my Dad now
  • 4 0
3:26 - overshooting a 40foot Canyon gap with XC bike, no protection and half shell helmet. Thats Brage Vestavik balls style!
  • 4 0
was that a Rampage clip @0:50 or just someone else with some extremely huge balls?
  • 10 0
That was Brage's crash I think
  • 3 0
 [Brage]
  • 4 0
that's Brage my guy. that's the crash that took him out of rampage.
  • 8 0
@cassonwd @overconfident @danielfloyd ...that's what I thought. Not sure I saw this camera angle though, really puts into perspective how absolutely massive that drop is
  • 4 0
@SATN-XC: yeah man. The other riders were talking about how ridiculous that drop is, and that they all didn't want to touch it because of how massive and exposed it is, as well as the fact that you can't run up to it without sending it because of the angled takeoff. The only way to check your speed is by launching yourself off of it, which obviously didn't go well for Brage. I just hope he gets a wild card invite next year. I think everyone wants to know what he can do to that mountain.
  • 3 0
@danielfloyd: If I remember correctly, the difference between where he cased it versus cleanly landing it was only a matter of inches. Would have loved to see him compete.
  • 1 0
@SATN-XC: yep. And as demonstrated, when you go this big, a few inches can have huge consequences.
  • 2 0
Should've dubbed in the part from 1:12 where the guy goes "D'oh. He'll live". Crazy crash landing!
  • 5 0
 Fall is my favourite month.
  • 4 0
The ledge jump at 3:28 at Spider Mtn. is the dumbest line ever. Whoever made that has no idea how to build a trail.
  • 1 0
I didn't realize it was Spider Mtn til I went back and looked and yeah I recall that ledge now. There's a couple awkward spots out there. I can also say that crashing at Spider Mtn is no joke. That dirt is unforgiving!
  • 2 0
@gtill9000: central texas here, the fear really lies with the risk of going off trail and being speared by a cedar tree. Those lower branches are basically punji sticks.
  • 4 0
really awesome riding buddy: "knew it"
  • 2 0
My Dad is the best riding buddy ill have you know Wink
  • 3 1
Lotta big air in this one, even if they didn't include Brage's (huge) rampage line crash. Some folks are putting their bodies through some physics courses.
  • 5 3
 Errr ... that's Brage @50s
  • 2 0
@OrangeGoblin: Lotta big air in this one, even without* Brage's (huge) rampage line crash.
  • 1 0
Poor bastiche @ 1:46. Even in slow motion that was a sudden backwards head motion. That must have been concussive.

And 3:06 - excellent form and very close to being a perfect landing. A few feet made a huge difference.
  • 3 0
That one at 3:03 was a nice case on the "Fish Gap" from Sickter Gnar 1 into Sickter Gnar 2 at Blackrock Mountain Bike Area outside of Falls City, Oregon.

Rider was only about a foot behind the knuckle. Give it a little pop if you don't have the speed and you'll clear it next time!
  • 3 0
My favorite commentary is when the filmer sounds disappointed or pissed off with the fail-er, like 0:27
  • 4 0
2:17 was a pretty sweet drift till he ran out of trail.
  • 1 0
@bikeybikeybikebike Was just about to say that too... If only he'd committed and let off the brakes!
  • 3 0
That was a skid, not a drift. Drifts don't use brakes.
  • 1 1

When the CT paywall hits PB, Friday Fails should not count as one of your free monthly hits; it would be soul crushing to not be able to watch this each week!
  • 1 0
They've said anything user generated will remain free to view. It'll be interesting to see what happens to FF as I'd argue it wouldn't exist without users posting their crashes. My gut feeling is Outside won't see it this way though.
  • 1 0
 @commental: kinda like TF?
  • 1 1
3:03 nice case on the "Fish Gap" from Sickter Gnar 1 into Sickter Gnar 2 at Blackrock Mountain Bike Area outside of Falls City, Oregon. Give it a little pop if you don't have the speed and you'll clear it next time!

This week’s edition is brought to you be the word BALLz!

The crash at the end was so slow that his buddy asked if he was alright even before he hit the ground.

2:27 Giants Ridge drop. I went way too fast off that the 1st time too but I made the corner...just barely.

As a farm kid who grew up in Iowa, I especially appreciate the dude eating $hit into a Farmall
