@Bro-LanDog: He might not be a twat, but we have all been guilty of not paying due diligence to the task at hand and be kinda goofin off- at that moment we were being twats. It comes and goes. But you're right in a sense too.
@Bro-LanDog: bro dog......you complained about how "weird" everyone was for laughing at the dingus in the video and now, you are calling someone a sociopath for saying his riding was messy(which it was but whatever)?
this is what your shrink would call projection, I think...
OK PB content producers, Friday Fails is the one thing I look forward to and its my distresser. Just like the sun announcing the beginning of a new day, FF announces that I only have to push for a few more hours till we get to ride my bikes.
STOP Posting it late you're giving me anxiety. ok rant over.
Some say that just watching Friday's fails gives you 72 hours of invincibility, indestructibility and general crashproof Call me a weirdo, but I forgot to watch it once. I broke my leg that weekend in the bike park.
@cassonwd@overconfident@danielfloyd ...that's what I thought. Not sure I saw this camera angle though, really puts into perspective how absolutely massive that drop is
@SATN-XC: yeah man. The other riders were talking about how ridiculous that drop is, and that they all didn't want to touch it because of how massive and exposed it is, as well as the fact that you can't run up to it without sending it because of the angled takeoff. The only way to check your speed is by launching yourself off of it, which obviously didn't go well for Brage. I just hope he gets a wild card invite next year. I think everyone wants to know what he can do to that mountain.
@danielfloyd: If I remember correctly, the difference between where he cased it versus cleanly landing it was only a matter of inches. Would have loved to see him compete.
I didn't realize it was Spider Mtn til I went back and looked and yeah I recall that ledge now. There's a couple awkward spots out there. I can also say that crashing at Spider Mtn is no joke. That dirt is unforgiving!
@gtill9000: central texas here, the fear really lies with the risk of going off trail and being speared by a cedar tree. Those lower branches are basically punji sticks.
Lotta big air in this one, even if they didn't include Brage's (huge) rampage line crash. Some folks are putting their bodies through some physics courses.
That one at 3:03 was a nice case on the "Fish Gap" from Sickter Gnar 1 into Sickter Gnar 2 at Blackrock Mountain Bike Area outside of Falls City, Oregon.
Rider was only about a foot behind the knuckle. Give it a little pop if you don't have the speed and you'll clear it next time!

Such variety this week! This is what I want from Friday fails! And skidy jibber, you had that commin’ to you son! As for the rest of you, you also had it coming…..just like we all have.
When the CT paywall hits PB, Friday Fails should not count as one of your free monthly hits; it would be soul crushing to not be able to watch this each week!
They've said anything user generated will remain free to view. It'll be interesting to see what happens to FF as I'd argue it wouldn't exist without users posting their crashes. My gut feeling is Outside won't see it this way though.

you're saying people that speed and run red lights don't deserve to crash?
or was distresser a Freudian slip?
[oh]
Call me a weirdo, but I forgot to watch it once. I broke my leg that weekend in the bike park.
And 3:06 - excellent form and very close to being a perfect landing. A few feet made a huge difference.
