Bringing the dumb barking dog on the ride was the biggest fail. Downvote if you must. I love dogs, but a small percentage have what it takes to be Trail Dogs.
  • 35 1
watch again with the mindset that he's being chased by someone else's dog and is just trying to get away
  • 15 3
@SATN-XC: sounds like a great reason to leave both dogs at home!
  • 17 1
im sure the dog was telling him it was a stupid idea and not to do it.
  • 44 0
Good lord what a dumb sport. lol
  • 28 0
30 seconds in you get an exceptional view of a moron.
  • 8 0
Agreed, what a jackass. It's as though the idea that other people might be using the trail never crossed his mind. What a dolt.
  • 10 0
That is an exceptional example of Natural Selection at work...except normally it means dying before breeding and passing on your stupid genes.
  • 30 1
@ReformedRoadie: The last rider to jump over him was pretty close to removing his ability to do so.
  • 7 0
@Augustus-G: That was a riot watching each one landing a little closer than the last.
His dumb-struck friends went silent at the worst time.
  • 4 0
And this is why cameras are a bad thing. I'm actually very disappointed he didn't at least get tapped by one of the riders.
  • 2 0
@Augustus-G: that is exactly what I was talking about...
There were a couple of other neutering, junk to stem/top tube this week.
  • 3 0
@ReformedRoadie: He's actually lucky to have made it that far. The Second rider almost took off the back of his skull. He was real close to being a Darwin Award Winner.
  • 1 0
@Augustus-G: that one reminded me of Jackass the movie.
  • 2 0
@ReformedRoadie: Losing the ability of passing on the stupid genes, even if one survives, also qualifies one for a Darvin Award Wink

1:47 Lets gooo I made it into Friday Fails!
  • 9 0
Normally I'd say that's not an accomplishment, but your failure is just barely, and I'll never be hitting a jump that large so good on you.
  • 3 0
 FF Yeah!
  • 4 0
@jaytdubs: Thanks, yeah it could've been a lot worse on that jump!
  • 3 0
@ChazMTB12: Those are big jumps in the ranch! That is almost a best case scenario falling there.
  • 1 0
 Yes
  • 22 0
where is this magical wonderland @ 1:24? snow on trees but nothing on the ground
  • 3 0
It's just some temperate climate where the ground has enough thermal mass to melt snow. The air was slightly cooler a few feet aloft. My guess is it's +1º or 2Cº out. I don't know if I've seen it as stark as that, but it can happen in loads of places.
And someone on here likely knows exactly where this was...
  • 1 0
@snomaster: Spot on. It was 1° C on that spot here in Heidelberg, Germany. But further up the hill it was super sketchy with ice on the ground.
  • 2 0
Well done @snomaster: your analysis has been verified as accurate by the locals and you have lived up to your name (:
  • 9 1
There were like four or five legit internal injury fails this week. I counted at least 6 ribs, a couple of shoulders, and probably a spine on that high-speed-to-tree stop. Hard to watch the groms especially - hate to see the kids take it hard.
  • 6 0
2:35 - you dead bro??? that was a big hit!
  • 2 0
...+Camera Guy getting his junk deleted by that rear wheel.
  • 2 0
@ateasdale: Dude was attempting a Bender- Jaw Drop !

www.youtube.com/watch?v=eOjOQh6tiqs
  • 2 0
@ateasdale: not gonna lie to you, i was 100% fine and dandy
  • 1 0
@ateasdale: Best thing that happened to him was that crash. If he sticks the landing, he's marrying those trees.
  • 2 0
The Death drop at Ledgeview at 2:35 was massive. So crazy
  • 1 0
@ateasdale: Yes, that's a monster drop. It's in the trail network my place backs onto. I've hit many, many stupid and questionable jumps (40'+) and drops (15'+) over the years and that one isn't even on the menu. The landing is way too flat for how tall it is, and the runout is virtually nonexistant.

@#1 As soon as I saw that guy pump I new he was about to eat a shit sandwich!
  • 5 0
 Pretty sure he got KO'd
  • 5 0
Word. This week started off strong and just kept hitting.
  • 11 0
Uncanny similarity between 1:05 and 3:25!
  • 1 0
At first you don't succeed, try, try again??
  • 8 0
1:37 I picked the kid up with my son after the crash. broken collarbone, screws and a plate.
Back on the bike and sending it...
  • 3 0
that's good to hear! ...the being back to sending it part
  • 5 1
That was the point I swore aloud and turned it off. Maybe I've tipped over a certain point or age, or maybe FF has for me shown stuff that goes too far too many times in the last few weeks. Happy to be shot down, just being honest.
  • 2 0
Thanks for taking care of him. That was a hard hit on big send.
  • 2 0
 Glad they have recovered!
  • 8 0
I need to know that kid at 1:37 is OK. That one was so rough I feel haunted.
  • 4 0
Totally - seeing the groms go down hard makes these compilations hard to watch. The adults *generally* know what they are getting into.
  • 9 5
Am I the only one who doesn't get goggles and no full face? I mean, do whatever floats your boat but I feel like if you are putting up with goggle you may as well protect the rest of your face too.
  • 4 2
You're not the only one thinking that - with ya 100%
  • 2 1
Yah you see that everywhere here. The hospital also get several smashed faces a week.
  • 2 0
 Roger that
  • 5 0
Damn, the editors seem to have tasted some blood after last weeks edition lol
  • 5 0
A little kid's voice, gently exclaiming "Awwww" is the most innocent yet humiliating thing you will ever hear.
  • 4 0
@3:28 Dude going really big, almost made it. Leogang: "Shred better". The irony ...
  • 1 0
If some of these people walked, there must be a God. These are getting brutal! You can tell some of them went limp before coming to a full stop, and I'm not talking about the guy recording under the drop. Head, Shoulders, Spine Ping Pong.

Suggestion: can we make it a requirement to only include videos where people didn’t die or were seriously injured?

Love Friday Fails but lately there’s been tons of serious crashes that aren’t in the category of “i watch, so i don’t end up risking bruising my knee”.

Plus, indicate the injuries and how all the failers are doing now.

Last week felt like watching a snuff video.
  • 1 0
as a rider with a crash in this video (2:35) i was 100% uninjured and laughing about the crash... the scariest part is theres probably way MORE chill looking crashes that did result in injuries and no one would comment/care...
  • 4 0
Ooooh, that nut shot at 1:02, I felt it!
  • 3 0
I love the way dogs look at you when you crash, just like "What the f*ck was that for, bro?"
  • 4 0
All I want to know is... did 3:35 guy slide past the finish line?
  • 3 0
2:34. Doctor said I have a concussion from watching it
  • 3 0
Man, some brutal ones this week!!
  • 3 0
1:40 is a spine breaker -.- That looked and sounded horrible!
  • 1 0
I often watch without sound, maybe that's a good idea. That was a tough crash too.
  • 2 0
After cringing through all those crashes I am selling my bikes and taking up golf...........
  • 1 0
 *pickleball
  • 2 0
@Jaredmente: My buddy just blew his Achilles playing pickleball. Stick with golf...
  • 1 0
Good to see Boogie Nights make it at 2:41. Sounds like it's been carnage with people going full send, they had to close the trail a week after opening it to tame it down.
  • 1 0
Hip jump with mandatory minimum pop height? Looks like some people (not me) would have fun with nose bonks etc on that! 2 steps forward and one step back is still progression!
  • 4 1
Did anyone else notice that they replayed the same fail at 1:08 and 3:23
  • 2 0
0:43 looks like Utah. Anyone know where these jumps are located? Also, #1, I hoped he lived to ride another day.
  • 3 0
 the thumbnail had me laughing!!
  • 3 0
A lot of people trying shit way out of their pay grade
  • 2 0
 Same as it ever was.
  • 1 0
 Those are the funny ones.
  • 2 0
The dude @.48 might still be asleep.
  • 2 0
 extra carnage this weekSmile
  • 1 0
I'm pretty sure David Grohl was thinking of this guy (0:39) when he was belting 'I don't want to be your monkey wrench'
  • 2 0
An audible "Oh my god" at 2:39. That was brutal.
  • 2 0
these clips are getting so brutal
  • 3 3
Should this be called Friday Falls since you cheeky writers used Falling Batteries in a headline knowing people would read it Failing Batteries.
  • 2 0
There were many violent, brutal, heavy slams this week.
  • 2 0
The “just send it” attitude seems to be more and more common
  • 2 0
Ah.... why is Friday fails so addictive
  • 2 0
Aim for the spaces between the trees guys….
  • 2 0
Loving the irony of Stan's being handmixed in Big Flats, NY! XD
  • 1 0
The 4-leged tried to warn him.
  • 1 1
Is this representative for "trails" in US/UK? Just groomed trails and jumps?
  • 1 0
Busted nut flip hurt to watch
  • 2 0

Hey,can we get a vintage edition?
  • 2 0
 Carlmont send at @2:15
  • 1 0
2.30 was more of a save than some that have made it to the Sunday edits.
  • 1 0
I see a business case here for resurrecting Roach stem pads. 1:01..ooof!
  • 2 0
 Some big hits this week.
  • 1 0
2:03 was like an embarrassing boy band audition
  • 2 0
 Cant get enough of it
