@cassonwd: Utah sand is very forgiving and most of the rock ledge breaks apart. He was still extremely lucky to land in such a perfect spot instead of rag-dolling after catching a ledge and breaking his neck, for example. That was an example of someone dropping into a feature which was way over their head mentally-speaking. It reminds me of the dude bailing on the train gap.... stuff of nightmares.
@scott-townes: he was just trying to do a speed check run but didn’t realize he couldn’t stop between the jumps. He did end up going back up and sending it about 5 mins after that crash happened.
2:04 - That split second, near stall, always feels like it’s in total slow motion. And it gives you more than enough time to know you’re royally screwed and you’re at the point of no return.
becuz of the flip at :44... i watched the rest of the fails in slow motion... .025 sound up high too!!! that loop out was gnarly too. might be the best fails yet
0:33 Done this one a few times, can't just roll it too much of a washed out compression at the bottom. Need to pull up a little bit or hit the ground. Glad he's OK.
Great mix this week-even the fabled Kurva!!!!!!
b. Did the dude/dudette just fall out of a tree at 2:10?
