if you are going around a corner with your ass on the seat, inside pedal down and on a hardtail you have no business trying to jump. WTF is wrong with people?
to be fair, WE all know that. but some people learn the hard way. just hope the hard way isnt a serious injury but eye opening enough to make them re-evaluate their skill set.
1) I've got a fever, and there's only one cure-more Kurwa!! 2) 1st crash dude got it right-if you didn't hit hard enough to cry, have a laugh. 3) The kid at 1:30 shouldn't be on anything more than a bike path-flamingo leg into a dead sailor shows zero skill, and more frustratingly zero mentorship from anyone, and yet it was recorded.
1:54 is such a rookie mistake! If you try and park your bike by putting the FRONT tire into the rack (in this case, his buddy's butt hole) it's going to fall over!
The very first one was actually pretty impressive. If you watch closely as he's getting launched over the bars he somehow manages to get his right leg *underneath* the downtube and around the lefthand side of the front wheel and take a pretty decent step like he's just gonna walk out of it. But then of course there's that annoying bike frame between his legs But major points for effort.
There's almost a 90 degree left turn in there too! I almost made it work but just got that little bit too snagged up and ended up coming down on my hand instead of rolling out
1:33 classic sitter downer, my fave at the bike park is the family with DH rentals wearing running shoes, full armor and sitting down on their seats blasting down trails not knowing they are about to be ejected.
Dude at 1:18 probably needs knee reconstruction after that.. speaking from experience here, I went otb and CB clips did not release until it was to late.. Literally almost killed me from torn artery & destroyed knee, faced with lower leg amputation, now home recovering for 2 years!!!!!
I feel like this round, people are trying to make it to Friday Fails on purpose. so many people riding things with their seat up, or completely committing to a nose dive on drops.
Often these fail clips include a chirping sound that I've never heard from my own bike - anybody know that that is? For example 1:14 and 2:10 in this week's video.
In this edition 2 or more of the following: *step-through frames *run 'm over when they're down *Hit the ground with your front wheel at a distance 25% of the drop height *Clueless people learning the hard way
Guy "hey guys should I try this wale tail feature!??!" Friends "well you lack basic riding skills and haven't successfully jumped your bike so I'd say you are ready."
So many crashes caused by the rear wheel being bucked off the lip of a jump - learn to shape take-offs appropriately when building guys. A curve right to the end of the take-off often has the effect of bucking (to less experienced riders particularly), but a flat spot makes for a much more predictable flight.
@jdkellogg: yeh, fair shout. I don't want to tell people what they should or shouldn't be building (although I've seen some shocking and frankly dangerous stuff built where I live). It's personal responsibility though. Always check the take-off (and your skill level) before sending it.
Dylan's gone.
(Johnny Cash, RIP)
Front tire slams off the drop.
Likely answer-the adult is also a flamingo legging, dead sailoring Gumby.
I don't know. Do we? Every Friday is asking.

What's that Lassie? Timmy launched himself into the creek? Not again!
This is the exact reason we don’t have any jumps.
