Bigger the YELP! = bigger the fail. Quick counter fact is the quicker 'are you ok' = real damage.... no i mean dr...no mean emerg....no i mean are you conscious ...
@suspended-flesh: As a fellow geez, I can tell you that look on face right after he smiled for the camera was about "I just need to hit it one more time!"
To the dudes at 1:43, I don't normally blast people for crashing, been there done that, but a) not only did one of you crash within 5' of the start of the trail but BOTH of you did and b) the camera angle gods were speaking....
I am convinced the human body is not built for crashing. I see other animals do dumb stuff and shake it off. I lost my front wheel two weeks ago in a flat turn and slammed my shoulder and it still isn't right.
@RayDolor: My brain is not fast enough sometimes. My hands didn't even come off the bar on that crash (less than 5 minutes into my ride). About 3rd turn.
“Might as well” seems like a slightly less committed form of “send it.” It’s a shortened form of “I’m either sliding down this feature on my ass or going head first in a blaze of glory. Might as well…”
2:50, did somebody step on a cat's tail?
3:08, the grunt of disappointment.
Also, between the first and third clips, a reminder what to do when your bars are in front of your front wheel contact point on touchdown.
2:02 - he's not a spring chicken! I might have recommended he work up to that feature.
Is it ?
If so :
Tough one.
Respect.
and heck ya that old dude who took the drop.
