This makes me pretty stoked to have aged into a mellow XC toodler-about, who can no longer afford to break his body. You can keep your "sends" and "braps" and whippersnapper exploits. I think 3/4 of these fails would have killed or paralyzed me.
Might just be me, but after every couple episodes of watching FF, I go out and turn down my rebound. Went out today and it was all the way down. Now have to start over!!
The Bugle sounds the charge begins,
But on this gnarly trail no one wins,
The snell of sweaty gear and shitted pants,
As I plunge on into certain fail.
The guy who was doing the flipping/tailwhip trick showed some pretty masterful crashing skills. Homeboy didn't appear to be wearing any safety gear and still looked non the worse for wear as he popped to his feet. Of course that could have just been the adrenaline talking...
An inspirational medley of crashes as usual to remind us how now to ride.
A couple of technical suggestions to the PinkBike Devs and editors; 1) Please stop with the video autoplay, or give us an option to set it to manual control. Not so much of an issue with FF, but in other articles it drains bandwidth if we just want to read what's under the vid 2) Vertical aspect ratio entries should be compended into the YT Shorts format. I'd wager most pb users are phone forward and vertical aspect makes the content about 1-1.5" wide. Even on good phones that's not enough pixels to make it a decent viewing experience.
Hope that’s not a blind stage race, otherwise we‘re gonna see some more FF clips of that. I was wondering why this guy overshot the last section that had…
So glad I did not watch this prior to today's ride, I hit everything I could get to drops, jumps, rolls, etc. The DJ not great for climbing but so fun on the trail..
That guy went exactly where he was looking. Once it started to go wrong he never took his eyes off that drop. And that's where he went. Like all of us *EVERY TIME*. Keep those eyes on the prize, always look where you want to be.
Of course that could have just been the adrenaline talking...

Most polite introduction to a fail.

Dead to me
