PB Dictionary: "Save" (verb) (1) coming to a complete stop with control over one's body (with or without bike); (2) maintaining momentum with control over one's body and bike."
There was a GoPro OTB on a jump line a couple weeks ago that had me thinking ‘god I hope that crunching noise was the ground.’ Pretty sure it wasn’t the ground.
Perhaps our Polish friends can enlighten the Pinkbike audience as to whether “kurwa” is as incredibly usage-flexible as its English cousin, so we may deepen our understanding of your Polish culture.
For example, would you (in Polish) tell someone to “kurwa off?” Or to “go kurwa themselves?” If something bad happens, would you say “ah man, you’re totally kurwa-ed?” If you see an attractive woman at the bar and you’re feeling bold, would you sidle up to her and say “hi, I’m Alexsy. Would you like to kurwa?” Could you say “kurwa me! That was amazing!”? Could your pal respond, “no kurwa-ing way, dude!”?
I look forward to visiting your fine country someday and conversing like a local.
@nsteele: Maybe look up the meaning of kurwa before you use that pick up line. It's not a literal translation of the word you so craftly avoid to mention.
@nsteele: I believe it's used in many ways like the French "Putain" but yes, the underlying meaning is NOT what you want to say to a woman. It means Wh0re.
@enduroNZ: this is at Floyd Hill in the US. With how the trail is laid out in this section, you'd have to absolutely know it's there, or you'd be throwing yourself off what looks like a cliff from the trail. It's a little hidden but on busy days there will be people scoping it out.
Going to rule "Fail" here....though soooo close
