I classify the clip at ~1.20 as a 'Save" vice a "Fail".
  • 9 8
PB Dictionary: "Save" (verb) (1) coming to a complete stop with control over one's body (with or without bike); (2) maintaining momentum with control over one's body and bike."

Going to rule "Fail" here....though soooo close

@SATN-XC: Gotta rule this a comment fail here. Not even close.

He clearly tipped over at the last minute so as to make Friday Fails instead of the less popular Sunday Saves

While watching that, in my head I went like 'That's a save'. And then he fell over. I laughed really hard and thought. 'Nope.Fail.'

@rickybobby19: yes! this is a fail fake!

Hall of Fame FF if you get all 3.

There was a GoPro OTB on a jump line a couple weeks ago that had me thinking ‘god I hope that crunching noise was the ground.’ Pretty sure it wasn’t the ground.

Sometimes you can tell things are going to go wrong just by how they are pedalling into it.
  • 23 0
Or by the way the helmet sits.

Shaky steering is a giveaway as well.

This was the Just Riding Along Edition.............

Probably the best I've heard on FF.

I came here to say that that might be the strongest KURVAA! yet,
  • 2 0
Perhaps our Polish friends can enlighten the Pinkbike audience as to whether “kurwa” is as incredibly usage-flexible as its English cousin, so we may deepen our understanding of your Polish culture.

For example, would you (in Polish) tell someone to “kurwa off?” Or to “go kurwa themselves?” If something bad happens, would you say “ah man, you’re totally kurwa-ed?” If you see an attractive woman at the bar and you’re feeling bold, would you sidle up to her and say “hi, I’m Alexsy. Would you like to kurwa?” Could you say “kurwa me! That was amazing!”? Could your pal respond, “no kurwa-ing way, dude!”?

I look forward to visiting your fine country someday and conversing like a local.

@nsteele: Maybe look up the meaning of kurwa before you use that pick up line. It's not a literal translation of the word you so craftly avoid to mention.
  • 1 0
@nsteele: I believe it's used in many ways like the French "Putain" but yes, the underlying meaning is NOT what you want to say to a woman. It means Wh0re.
  • 1 0
@suspended-flesh: Oh, got it. Good to know. I think there’s a whole bunch of us who were under the impression it meant the other word

Will someone please tell that kid at 1:43 to not sit down while going off a drop!?
  • 4 0
That was the epitome of dead sailor. Wow.

1:47 that was a proper size jump.
  • 1 0
@KavuRider: I’m not sure he even knew it was there
  • 1 0
@enduroNZ: this is at Floyd Hill in the US. With how the trail is laid out in this section, you'd have to absolutely know it's there, or you'd be throwing yourself off what looks like a cliff from the trail. It's a little hidden but on busy days there will be people scoping it out.

 "NO TURNING BACK NOW!!"
  • 8 0
 shoulda turned back

Less potentially lethal than many recent FFs. I like seeing the kids wreck themselves, because you know they are right back out there again.

Not so sure about the guy at 0:20.

The only video I am okay with autoplay on
  • 3 0
I'm not. Because I have to stop it, turn on the sound, and start from the top

People know that you don't HAVE to do jumps when you're mountain biking, right?
  • 4 0
There are several thing in life that are easier and safer if you wear knee pads, jumping a mtb is definitely one of them.

Learning in the same moment that both your riding and trail building have missed the mark. Priceless life lessons.

RIP Little Switz Bike Park, was nice crashing on you while you were still around. Now it's a 3.5 hour drive to Marquette for any real downhill.
