What about the massive dirt jump in the middle of a crowded urban street in what I can only assume is somewhere in South America? Talk about an out of place Friday Fails local, an all time great IMO, not necessarily because of the fail itself but how out of place it is in the setting!
At least mountain bikers are all wearing helmets, and most of us are wearing some sort of knee/elbow pads. So, when we show people our crash videos we look a little smarter than bmxers.
@siradinar: It's not a bad feature. You do not require much speed to clear that step down. It is a neat trail with multiple branches down the steep bank depending on what features you want to hit.
@overconfident: It is definitely a tight turn into it. We did some local racing on it and I maintain it is faster to cut inside and avoid the drop. Others disagree.
I see people logging their park days on Strava all the time. Never knew a computer was a bike park faux pas. Maybe they're doing it stealth with their phone or gps watch. But then, I'm beyond the age of giving a shit about that sorta thing. My elbow pads, that I pretty much only dig out for park days, are probably uncool too.
so not the first time that's happened
