 That first one... That's nuts!
  • 26 8
The "first" one has no number, and the one after it is numbered one. We have to assume a decrement scheme is in place, and most likely an unsigned integer, so if we subtract 1 from clip 1, we get clip FFFFFFFF.
Which is a great name for that clip.

@Mtmw: All good software engineers use zero based indexing

@robbyking: Why not use a signed decrement on an unsigned 64 bit integer though? What could go wrong?

@Mtmw: I can assure you that 1-1 =0 and 0 is a perfectly good index.

@Mtmw: The number referencing on the clips is genius.

@Mtmw: i prefer the unsigned excrement index...

That's the old 'Marzocchi Drop' from back early 2000's Wade Simmons launched

@Mtmw: It's like the new Godzilla movie. Godzilla Minus One.

Dylan Stark recently Sui'd that drop and the kid in the first clip tried it for himself soon afterwards. Dylan had to go on IG and ask his followers to put in years of practice before sending it.

@suspended-flesh: does anyone know what happened to the kid?

FF pro tip - Always grab a handful of front brake while you're in the air on your jumps. See you next Friday

additional FF pro tip - when riding off a drop, grab an assertive handful of rear brake once your front wheel is off the ground

I was thinking the same damn thing, BMX backgrounds are needed, no front brake, not a problem.

I want the sound #16 made as my ringtone for my ex.

Too many people need ABS brakes on their MTBs it seems. 22 made me laugh though.

#5 - the sigh of someone who's had their ride cut short too many times to shuttle their buddy to the ER.

So once you have watched Friday fails, here’s a classic.

Warner, peat, longden, Moseley, pagey….. this is red bull ……before red bull tv. The coverage is on par with current 2023 discovery but this is from the 90’s so it’s RAD.

I keep adding more and more protection until soon will look like the Michelin Man. Next on the list is chest / back / shoulder and padded shorts ... besides cost, I don't see too many downsides to have the extra protection. Crashing is not really an if, but more a when.

#12 had some great camera work going on, and the majority of the clip was super smooth, it was a bit heartbreaking to see it go wrong.

Aside from the trials/freestyle riders, this was a notably no-talent edition of fails. This sort of carnage is why ebikes make me nervous. Now, Fred Flintstone can get to gnarlier lines where their lack of strength and fitness will come to the fore when that 50 pound broped goes sideways........
