11 is me. Looks so pathetic, but I'm sitting here a week out from surgery after fully rupturing my ACL and MCL, and tearing both medial and lateral meniscus' during that tip over...

That sucks, hopefully my upvote makes it all worth it.

Wow, that sucks. The crash didn't even look at all that bad.

Bummer dude! Planted that foot and and all went wrong. Hope it all heals quickly and you are back at ASAP.

LOL, FFS, for the last effin time, get a real browser! There is no commercials from Google if you use a proper browser. This thread is a fail in itself!!!

Firefox + Ublock Origin = no ads anywhere, never, till the end of time.

There's got to be more to the story of 20 - I feel we joined mid-clip.

That was my favorite one. Made me chuckle

Its a large sharkfin drop at a small bike park in Missouri. Its fun and smooth but if you chicken out you're sliding off and I can guarantee Jeff chickened out and stopped and that led to his demise.

I would advise watching it with the audio and the captions on. You can hear the action and the captions give a bit of narration as well:

Wind whistling - Heavy breathing - Bike rattling - Bike crashes - Rider grunts - Camera man swearing - Background laughter.

good times!

The guttural dad grunt when your offspring takes a soil sample at :23

Today was the first time I watched FF's with my noise canceling headphones on instead of computer speakers. What a difference the noise canceling headphones make. You can really hear the crunching of rocks, bikes and bones? So much better with improved audio!!!

I a world where advertising and commercialism is everywhere, Pinkbike used to be kinda a escape from that. Sure, there were ads but nothing that really got in the way of content like the one during the middle of this clip. Thanks Outside! I guess they're succumbing to corporate just like everyone else.

Yes, but have you considered vacationing in Texas?
  • 1 0
 @VtVolk:
That’s funny.
I’ve never liked country music
or soccer. But all of a sudden I don’t like them more now.
And as far as Texas goes.
That add doesn’t make me wanna go

@VtVolk: Stinks of sad desperation. On top of the zero chance I'd ever consider visiting Howdy Arabia.

Friday "riding outside your skill level" fails
  • 3 0
Ha! That's literally what I think to myself as I watch each week.
It's a strange sport where people are regularly encouraged to go for moves/skills/features way above their skillset, even when the consequences are fairly serious.
Before this type around with bikes I've been sea kayaking for years. And there we very carefully screen participants on many, many trips because rather than injury the risk is death. So I'll admit it's been an adjustment where everyone should just SEND IT!

(I also do recognize that some people lack the internal safety mechanism as well and simply don't listen.)

Saw that one coming from the second it started. Crawling apprehensively into off camber slippery rock slab, what could possibly go wrong?

I will never sick of watching people hit drops who have no idea how to initiate a manual, and therefore no business attempting drops yet.
