11 is me. Looks so pathetic, but I'm sitting here a week out from surgery after fully rupturing my ACL and MCL, and tearing both medial and lateral meniscus' during that tip over...
LOL, FFS, for the last effin time, get a real browser! There is no commercials from Google if you use a proper browser. This thread is a fail in itself!!!
Its a large sharkfin drop at a small bike park in Missouri. Its fun and smooth but if you chicken out you're sliding off and I can guarantee Jeff chickened out and stopped and that led to his demise.
Today was the first time I watched FF's with my noise canceling headphones on instead of computer speakers. What a difference the noise canceling headphones make. You can really hear the crunching of rocks, bikes and bones? So much better with improved audio!!!
I a world where advertising and commercialism is everywhere, Pinkbike used to be kinda a escape from that. Sure, there were ads but nothing that really got in the way of content like the one during the middle of this clip. Thanks Outside! I guess they're succumbing to corporate just like everyone else.
@VtVolk: That’s funny. I’ve never liked country music or soccer. But all of a sudden I don’t like them more now. And as far as Texas goes. That add doesn’t make me wanna go
Ha! That's literally what I think to myself as I watch each week. It's a strange sport where people are regularly encouraged to go for moves/skills/features way above their skillset, even when the consequences are fairly serious. Before this type around with bikes I've been sea kayaking for years. And there we very carefully screen participants on many, many trips because rather than injury the risk is death. So I'll admit it's been an adjustment where everyone should just SEND IT!
(I also do recognize that some people lack the internal safety mechanism as well and simply don't listen.)
Wind whistling - Heavy breathing - Bike rattling - Bike crashes - Rider grunts - Camera man swearing - Background laughter.
