Important to tell yourself you're "droppin". Don't want to get caught off guard on that.

This was a Fail Friday Light edition - good to have a reprieve from the usual carnage. #8 was an abrupt face plant that broke something off the front of his helmet.

#5 and 6 were hefty slams.

 Thank you!

You can make a strong case for #6 being the worst.

#5 was higher speed and initially seems more violent, but #6 is a super hard slam from pretty high up.

@ReformedRoadie: I’m not 22 anymore. That would probably kill me.

Sent the link to the wife earlier and she strongly suggested I get out and ride more.

I was waiting for the alligator to come out of nowhere in #18...

#10 Cannot believe I'm the only one that thought this was the worst. New England woods are so tight and rocky. A little bobble like this off of a drop into a tree can definitely break hands/fingers

#2 has convinced me that trails are safer when surrounded by bushes and not by trees.

That would have been a pretty heavy impact if it was a tree.

Pretty sure that bush was full of thorns. Not fun either way!

#8 seemed the worst to me. The abrupt nature of stopping without any warning. The others, you know what might go wrong, but with 8, it just came out of nowhere.

 #2 The thorns! Ouch!

15 - how'd he manage to do that?
  • 3 0
I think he was trying to do a stoppie + nose manual back down that little slope.

Recently did a #19. The humiliation was almost as bad as getting the wind knocked out of me. Almost

1 and 4 were some of the gnarliest nut taps I've ever seen Confused

I don't believe I've ever seen anyone crash on that part of Gravy Train before (#11).

When they first put that new sidelip, it was way too short and poppy for the speed. I watched a very good rider eat it on that thing right after they added it. There was a LOT of bs added to GT until some “real” trail builders came through and fixed it.

Mine still hasn't made the cut. Crazy town!

#15 was the worst - most pain to the ego.

No Defender ads this week - big WIN!

#5 and #6 were the worst.
#2 was the BEST! Who hasn't become one with the shrubbery at least once?

#19 - Highest possible score on the shame-o-meter...

Rumor has it that #19 still hasn't caught his breath.

Can't believe that #18 didn't go into the drink after he fell off his bike. That's the real fail, right there...
  • 1 0
 #14 - "180 degrees from glory"
  • 2 0
If #1 and #14 were intentionally 180s, they were closer to success than failure.
