Has anyone noticed that the Giant Glory seems to be the Friday-Fails bike of choice?

Oh man the dude at the end - Said Oh Shit the moment he was going full blast and still threw out the huck - get F$%#ed lol - priceless

word to the wise: if you're butthole clenching the squirrel catcher, don't hit the main jump.
  • 2 0
 No, but I'd believe it.
  • 27 0
Six six one armor seems to be the fail protective of choice also. Steer clear of glory661 kid at the park!
  • 4 0
@leviatanouroboro: Yea those dudes are just a wrecking balls waiting to happen! If you don't feel confident don't hit the line...let me put it this way....if everyone around you has their camera out and you're like wow this is the most attention I've gotten my whole life...stop what you're doing...get off the bike and convince your friend to do It instead....unless of course you're a stunner and know how to hit a drop or jump....then it's all game and safe landing!

Absolutely right. All of the horrible paint jobs must be destracting
  • 1 0
Oh shit OH Shit OH SHIT!
  • 2 0
I suspect this has something to do with it being a choice rental bike for lift-serve bike parks
  • 46 0
 road gaps taking lives
  • 44 0
Is it really a fail if you get up to the top of the stack of pallets? The bike was just a means to an end there...
  • 15 0
If you fail and no one is around to see it did you really fail?
  • 10 0
@leviatanouroboro: Only if your health insurance has to get involved.
  • 22 0
Yelling "More speed" when the guy is on the lip is just an A-hole move, you might as well yell "Get well soon".
  • 3 0
I want to re-edit that with a dude yelling "Get well soon!" That's hilarious
  • 1 0
 Funny though....
  • 18 0
 1:01-1:07. OMFG.

Have to agree with you, anyone who knows how sharp&hard dead spruce branches are would react this way. This year I was riding in local bikepark and a kid crashed out of the trail onto dead spruce branch and one end went straight through his leg...
  • 2 0
@winko: it’s partly the spruce branches, but even more the instantaneous face vs tree.
  • 1 0
Feet off the pedals is not usually a way out of a bad situation.
  • 1 0
I actually winced at that one
  • 13 0
I would love to see the percentages of falls from going too fast vs too slow
  • 13 0
I counted 10 for too slow, 6 for too fast, 3 “if I’m going to do big jumps I should consider how to do big landings,” and the rest just bad luck or lack of skill.
  • 1 0
 @DrPete: u nailed it
  • 9 0
There were some really huge hucks in the episode, nice job PB! I especially like the river gap. Reminded me of something Evel Knievel would do.
  • 1 0
Yeah, some proper cringe worthy stuff this week, I don't want to see anyone getting hurt but the dj ones are pretty much to be expected.
  • 5 0
Yooo. ... props to all the homies going Big!- - and not going home . Legit stuff in this one!
  • 10 2
Some of these guys need more strength, penis arms don't help.
  • 15 0
Thanks for that image, it shall not leave me.
  • 8 0
The older I get the more I enjoy these
  • 7 0
If you're wearing Jargos (jean cargo shorts)... probably should keep the wheels on the ground.
  • 5 1
Like most of the riders in this video, I'm a shit rider. The thing is that I understood a long time ago that it's not worth filming what I do, so I'm wondering if these guys think their videos would look cool if things went according to plan. They look awesome when things go wrong anyway! Thanks for filming Joey!

There are some big features in this video. Landing them definitely would look cool.
  • 5 0
Everyone should practice ditching their bike midair somehow. If you get that skill down in can save ya. There were some huge gaps in this one!!
  • 4 0
Sometimes using the bike to absorb some impact is better than shattering ankles though...
  • 1 0
 ride flats, my friends
  • 6 0
the guy at the end... says oh shit has so much time to bail out and yet he still sends haha
  • 5 0
0:52 drop falls that end in painful OHHH OHHH OHHH at the end are never good. Hope the guy was alright.
  • 4 0
I think I enjoy the big train fails the most, "OK, which one of you is going down?!?!"
  • 1 0
Its not every day you see a home subdivision segment. We need more of these. Kids with no mountains try some wacky lines in these huge construction sites. Way too many folks out there have too much bike for the terrain they actually ride.
  • 4 0
I’d say the road gap torpedo at 3:00 was the worst.
  • 3 0
the one right after at 3:05 i think was the worst lol
  • 2 0
 Vink-Line in Chatel delivers \o/

Saw a lot of riders caught out there this year. The lip used to finish a good metre later so you didn't need as much speed to clear it so all it takes is one rider to be only just making it last time and now they'll come up short like in the video. The Switch mechanic down the bottom of the hill was selling a lot of wheels and rims due to that one gap!! Think it was modified in '17 as I wasn't there last year and it didn't look fresh, definitely wasn't held up by the wood in '16 otherwise I would have smashed my face in when I forgot to turn left for the chicken run and skidded over the top and slid down the bank onto the road. Someone has that on their phone somewhere.

Rider- “is Jackie Chan style an option?”
  • 3 0
Is there somewhere we can submit clips for Friday fails?
  • 1 0
thats what I want to know!
  • 2 0
There's a crashes section on PB videos - I presume that they just trawl that...
  • 1 0
Thank you that makes sense now! ahhahahahh
  • 2 0
After watching such vids i'm always amazed what hige amounts of abuse a human body can take.
  • 1 0
I must be getting old. All I can think is "Why are road gaps still a thing??"
  • 1 0
at 2:10 thats a freakin death trap. Hope they tore that thing down before someone gets impaled.
  • 2 0
As amazing as always, thanks PB!
  • 1 0
Fall at 2:40 luckiest man alive? Looks like a no-big-deal fall by the time he actually had to eject!
  • 1 0
2.30 (to 2.40) That’s Ae Forrest, drop is called the elevator and it’s scary as sh1t!
I sent it once and almost snapped my bike in two landing in the compression at the bottom.
It’s the last part of a hideous DH track that has 3 or 4 massive features including the “coffin jump” and a 30ft step down....
  • 1 3
Why do I love watching people fail so much? Is there something wrong with me?

Everyone look up passion production YouTube. He does the most rare MTB fail vids ive never seen anywhere else. Dude is killing the fail vids compilation game.
  • 1 0
Most of these look so inevitable-they look like they haven't ridden mtb's before yet are trying some big stuff. Crazy
  • 1 0
Did anybody catch the 1:28 +/- narration sounded like a girl too
  • 1 0
 2:35 was almost really cool
  • 1 0
The last clip.He sent it so fricken deep!!!
  • 4 0
Yeah, he needed to donate some speed to the road gap guys.
  • 1 0
Guaranteed 2:23 thought he was a hero for a second.
  • 1 0
Guy needs to lower his seat and he probably would have hero'd that.
  • 1 0
 My gut hurts. still laughing.
  • 1 0
 What @tripd said!!!
  • 2 3
Not sure what is more sad, breaking/dislocating your collarbone on a crappy, small jump or getting messed up on a huck...
  • 3 0
The first is more sad! Breaking your body on a nothing sections demoralizes you has a human! hahahhahahh At least with a huck people are like, Dammmmmm you tried that, you are lucky to be walking! I dislocated my shoulder the first time coming down a rad DH section of trail in January. I hit asphalt under the shade that was icy and crashed! ahahhahhahhahahhahahhah On a flat section that was concrete! ahahhahha

I once tacoed a front wheel on a little 1-ft drop. After I landed, my bike was still tumbling through the air and some part of it hit me in the face, leaving me with a blowout fracture of my orbit (eye socket). After I recovered from that surgery and got back on the bike I was afraid of EVERYTHING. Took months of working with a pro coach one on one to get my confidence back.

At least when you wreck yourself on something big you can just avoid that big thing the next time around and enjoy the rest of your ride.
  • 1 0
I went to ride of a less than 1m retaining wall and got caught on a tiny fence and fractured my elbow and concussed myself, its shameful
  • 2 1
I dislocated my first collarbone on a 3ft double. Second on a “family” trail in the bike park. But when it comes to hucks, I remember coming to a big one, like vertical 15ft. I was pumped to do it. There was a guy there on that day who nobody liked, he irritated me greatly with his unfounded elitism, ironic since he was a bit of a hippie. And he said it: it’s not a matter of skill, it is a matter of intelligence... I thought that when such an a*shole seems to be right... it has to be right

@WAKIdesigns: Big balls+ Mad skills ÷ Time spent healing = Rampage
  • 1 0
 Two words: road gaps????
  • 1 0
 Ouch Eek
  • 1 0
 Walk it off
