Sometimes I see the Friday Fails, and I wonder, really, WTF are they thinking. I mean, this isn't that hard. It's not rocket science. Maybe PinkBike could do a tutorial? It wouldn't have to be long:
Instagram stories. How hard is that to grasp... and quite frankly I don’t know how could you give a damn. These are fail videos, not Planet Earth narrated by Sir Attenborough
Hahaha! YES! That is actually my clip. First two tries it was fine, on the third (of course as soon as the camera comes out) the teeter part got stuck under the little ramp the eased the transition from ground to teeter. Ugh. Came away in one piece though!
@JohanG: oh hell yeah! It went something like, "Hey this thing went down right the first couple times I rode it, why isn't it dropping, should I jump, I'll put my foot down, oh no room to put a foot down, oh now it's dropping, great here comes the ground...did anyone see that?"
1. Ass over teakettle (AOT) is a real thing. Pinkbike, please make a video addressing this issue showing the do's and don'ts. 2. VVS (Vertical Video Syndrome) is a real thing. Maybe we should teach this in school.
@el-nombre:It is a familiar idiom in Canada. Checked and it seems there is no clear origin story, though the expression (and many similar variations) go back to the early 20th century.
3:15 related question: How do you remove a seatpost that has been rectally inserted and stuck? Do you... 1) Heat the seat tube up with a blowtorch because the metal will at a faster rate. 2) Use lots of lube. 3) Saw it off and pry it loose. 4) Go to the LBS.
i notice that a lot. or people who don't pop the front enough and the bike over rotates from the back too. but yeah, a lot of these guys are just losing control of the front due to lack of strength IMO. normal though, not everyone who rides and jumps is 'training' in the gym or doing push ups in their free time. i'm coming back from injury and the first tech trail i went down reminded me of how hard this sport is on core strength and chest/shoulder strength.
Came here to say this as well. Folks need to do some push-ups. Collapsing on the landing like a lot of these guys are is totally preventable. Source: didn’t used to lift weights for biking, learned that wasn’t a good idea for bigger features.
hmm....how do you get into Friday Fails...I recorded the most amazing fail of all time this week and posted it on my pink bike account but not sure how to get it on Friday Fails...
i always hate it if you crash hard and approximately 0.5 seconds later the following guy asks you "oooh man, are you ok?!?!" ....i don´t know man, just give me some fu***ing time to breathe....
@mtbikeaddict: Honestly that stage-ending drop/roller is steeper than it looks so you have to pull the breaks pretty good unless your going to huck the shit out of it. The dude was moving and didn't seem like he was expecting it.
Yes that was Gumball! hahahahhahahha Thank you for the spot! I just got home from California and have been jet lagged! This was a good episode and it was cool to see Gumball!
There's no shortage of guys in flats that don't know how to jump either! There was a video years ago of an Ibis rider hitting that same sequence on a CX bike.
I wouldn't call a lot of these "fails". Washing out or being a bit sideways on landing a 360 is not a "fail". A fail in my book is a bad decision that predictably goes very wrong. This video should be a lot shorter. Just my $.02.
What were these guys thinking posting all this trail info! I mean, come ON! why in the world would you upset trail politics like this? That shot of the dumpster in Guadalajara? I've been to the donkey bar around the corner! Oh well, sounds like that trail network is done. F-ing Pinkbike.....

Italians:"Puttana...nelle palle la sella"... (literaly: bitch! the saddle on the balls!")

Friends should just tell friends "NO"
"Puttana...nelle palle la sella"..... Puttana means Bitch.... XD ...So you can translate with "Holy Bitch! The saddle hurts the balls!!"
XD...italians

(This is the first "fails" video I have clicked on and I already regret it.)
