I go no gloves but wish I didn't. It doesn't change the way I fall, but it does leave me with cut up hands that take forever to heal. I keep telling myself to wear them, but I'm so used to no gloves.
Sometimes it takes surviving a crash to make me fully accept that I can make a jump. It's probably a bad way to progress, but there's nothing like post-survival adrenaline + the realization that if I'd have fully committed I could have landed it to make me go back and nail a new jump. I think I might get that feeling vicariously through some of these!
