Petey is like every other boy. He heard it, but it didn't compute. Boys are not the smartest mammals walking the earth. If you have boys, you know this is fact.
I heart Petey....
@masonstevens: ummm no Petey shouts back "I can't" And I get the whole young buck kicking off against the father thing being expressed here but we all know that if he had managed to slow it down a little then he might have rode it out which feels a lot better than filling your face with dusty rocks. Plus how do we know it's his dad? So many assumptions. Interesting how people see what they want to see.
The MTBer spirit of ‘f*ck it’ is stronger than ever it seems. My equation senses detect: ‘lots of new people in the sport’ + ‘very confidence inspiring bikes’ = ‘fresh fails every friday’. (Big ones)
PB, sounds like there might be something to this! Let's be real, if you post a "Sunday Saves", AT THE LATEST you know people are watching that first thing when the get to work on Monday!
(to bike shop) Yeah I landed totally clean and then the front wheel just folded.....definitely warranty, probably defective,I know an engineer. You should feel lucky I'm not suing you.
Every week!! I'm always amazed at the people who hit jumps and features, as if it takes no practice or specific skills to do that! WTF? They're saying to themselves, "I can totally do that, even though I have no idea what the actual skills required are!"
If I could create an app that would automatically rotate vertical video to landscape and have it scaled properly, I'd be a bazillionaire. 100% it would be called iDIOT.
@pioterski: It doesn't matter how many angles it's from. I'm sure there where many attempts and any crash while trying to pull tricks mid air is progression.
I am continually amazed at people who don't seem to have the slightest idea, that it takes actual skills and techniques to hit trail features!! It's like they see a video on youtube, and think, "I should totally go out to the forest tomorrow and do that!" LMAO!!!
At times, I start to wonder if wearing pads and gloves for everyday riding is necessary. Then I see all these people shred there arms legs and hands to bits and it scares sense into me.
The wreck @ 43 seconds is @ Chewacla State Park and if you don't have enough speed it's a violent wipe out. I have hit that jump and the lead in is kind of sketchy.
Petey: “hold my orange squash....”
Don't listen to the doubters; you don't need that kind of negativity in your life.
I listen to Dad,
Dad is always right.
They say that because
He's a being of light, light, light.
Will Petey listen next time?
Probably not but I'm sure when he's older he will tell his kids something similar. Slow Down!!!!
100% it would be called iDIOT.
Good advice, given a little late!
"muh," I think.
