Video: Peaked Too Soon? - Pinkbike Racing

Oct 25, 2022
by Pinkbike Originals

Pinkbike Racing was started to help develop young and promising talent and to get them to stand on the podium but with Aimi's best ever result at the start of the season, is she in danger of stagnating? Or can she continue to progress and sign off the season in style?

Who could not root for Aimi and the video production team deserves a raise.

 Absolute banger of a video.

Honestly, after quick reading the title I thought someone made a documentary about my high school days. This was a much better watch. Looking forward to next season.

My wife is not a rider but she's a fan mostly bc of me. Goes to World Cups and enjoys the sport. She was blown away by this edit. That goes to show just how good it was that anyone can watch it and be inspired.

It's ridiculous. How can a made-by-an-internet-company series be this good? Yes, the team is full of personalities that could carry most things, but the storytelling and production is next level. The closing section of this video, I wouldn't know where to start... amazing.

What a team.

Got stuck in 1990? Netflix is also "made-by-an-internet-company".

Stoked to show this to my 4 year old daughter. She loves riding and competing, so showing her what a girl can do on a bike...priceless. Thanks Pinkbike.

Nice work again guys. Production is next level. I think I'm right in saying that Gracey, Phoebe, Jenna and Isabella all have to move on to Elite next year so some good opportunities coming I'd guess.

this is amazing! I mean, yes, content is on a very high level (I am in the business myself and I know how hard it can be to produce this level of quality), but what amazes me even more is that all these videos offer glimps into how a team works, how racers work, even a bit into their minds, how they prepare, cope with certain situations. a great documentary series, which just shows how hard and tough this sport is!

looking forward to the next series, keep up the good work!
kudos!

Stuck at home with covid, crying like a fifty year old baby after re-watching Long Live Chainsaw, now crying with joy at Aimi's courage and spirit. Have fun wherever this journey takes you, and I echo the sentiment of kudos to ALL involved.

I'm in awe of the level of production, but more importantly, I'm amazed by how honest this series is (or seems to be). Ben is so supportive of these young talents, isn't just pushing them for results, but at the same time doesn't pull any punches when it comes to evaluating their weaknesses and where they could/need to improve. Keep up the story telling folks, I hope this is back for next year!

Great video and the wide open fast speed will come for sure. Seems like every rider from up here suffers from the same thing when it comes to WC's at first as we dont have the super fast open tracks, more techy tight tracks. Greg, Henry and Jamie have all done really well once they got their heads around the wide open motorway tracks.

I think she had the best pov practice video of the race run this whole season.
