Thanks and cheers for the captions in all the 3 first episodes.
And to do all this at such a young age? Amazing. This video gives me new appreciation for just how much these athletes work and riders like Aimi deserves all the support and words of encouragement people can give.
Bosses multiple "every 2 weeks you have a task, and that task is 90% of your overall grade, also we need your PR level to be otherworldly but you have help for that, but the first task, its all on you once the go button hits."
Ya.....no wonder the mental stresses are high. It's like being in sales for some of the cellular companies.
To win WC nowadays you need to put everything on the line and ride on the thin edge. Lots of respect for you racers that carry on every year and risk it all for the sake of the competitive nature of the sport.
Look forward seeing Aimi continue to have fun her bike and hopefully, have a long and successful career in DH racing.
I fully agree with Ben at the end! That‘s a very strong feeling
It's way of the road Bubbs. Sometimes she goes, sometimes it doesn't.
stupid autocorrect!
The 25 day count down until Christmas?
Is that gone since Outside took over?
I think the mental game has been the biggest battle for her this year, racing after winning is the hardest thing to do, expectation and disappointment is something every racer has to learn to deal with and how you deal with it determines lots of racers futures who have amazing potential.
And aggressive balance. Goldstone's bike follows him down the hill. Literally. He puts his body where he wants it to go, and he is so ON the bike that he is dragging it after him. It exactly the same in skiing. Put the body where you want to go. You are not 'riding a bike'. You are throwing yourself in the direction of travel and the bike follows. Hence the description everyone has of Goldstone: 'dancing down the hill'.
This season you had PACE. Off season head stuff as Cathro says and you will have MUCH PACE.
